Yes balcony makes a difference, especially when you have 4 in a cabin!

Can you do a faux booking and see What locations are still available and Ask to

be moved to where You want?  I would also look at Balcony deluxe, etc. Just maybe...🤷‍♂️

 

I called this AM at 7:30, exactly when they opened, and still took over 90 mins to get thru!

Had been accumulating questions and changes, and cabin locations, so I was READY to

hit them with a slew of things to do.  I never call for one item, its a waste of time.

Its usually many things to be handled.

Thank you!  I finally got through but the "best" they could do was offer me a forward Deluxe Balcony which I had to decline because I'm get motion sickness very easily.  I'm going to keep checking on prices and room availabilities. 

I've been calling to see if we can another larger balcony (or at least some compensation) because we were moved from a large balcony room to a regular balcony room. There are 4 of us and really wanted to all be able to enjoy the Alaskan scenery together on the balcony.  I've been on hold for 5 HOURS now!  Is this their tactic lol.... Waiting for me to give up.  My phone battery has been drained!

Hi there, wondering how long it takes to get off the ship once it arrives into Juneau?  I'm on the Discovery Princess, and it's scheduled to be in Juneau from 12:30pm to 9pm, and docking at AS (Alaska Steam Dock). 

Is there anything I should do if I want to be one of the earlier folks getting off?  Thank you!

New to the Medallion Net so have two questions for you seasoned cruisers:

1) If I purchase Medallion Net Wifi for single device (think it's like $69.93 for the voyage), can I switch between devices as long as only 1 is connected at a time?

2) If I don't purchase the Medallion Net Wifi, can I still use the MedallionClass app onboard the ship to use its features (like reserve dining, find my companions, see daily programs etc)?

I was just informed they moved us from Dolphin aft to Caribe midship due to quarantine space necessity for a late May sailing. We lost a bigger balcony to a normal balcony. Hoping they can do something but not optimistic.

Was just informed by Princess that our cabin on late May departure Discovery was changed ("upgraded") from Dolphin aft balcony to Caribe midship balcony due to quarantine area. So they are still doing that even for late May departures. 

We lost our large balcony D701 to a normal balcony. 😑

We are planning our late May trip to Alaska, with a stop in Skagway. We wanted to do the glacier helicopter + dogsledding tour out of Skagway and have the option of either 7:45am departure or 12:45pm departure. For those of you who have been there and familiar, do you recommend the morning one or afternoon one?

Some have said it's clearer in the afternoon after the sun comes out, but others have said it's better to book morning in case it gets cancelled you have the PM session option as a back up.  What have you heard in terms of higher percentage of cancellation?

For reference, it's the 4 of us (2 adults + 2 kids 10.5 and 8 YOs).  Thank you!
