My Husband and I traveled to Alaska twice, once for 2 weeks on our own and again in 2006 on our very first Princess cruise. My sister and I (both widows) just booked this exact tour for June 25, 2019. Reading your review helped us decide that since this will be a once in a lifetime trip, we would do it up and opted for the Connoisseur tour. Thanks for the great review and pictures.

Yes, we are Northbound so Bar Harbor before Canada and I guess we won't know which dock until that day. Best to rise early, quick breakfast and then head down to get in line for the tender.

My sister and I will be on the Regal and in Bar Harbor on Sept 25th. Interested in the Ollie's Trolley 4 hours Tour which according to the website leaves at 9:30. Ship supposed to dock at 7am. A bit concerned on the time since it is a tender port. Anyone done this recently and have a problem with the time allowed. It's been a number of years since I have been on a cruise so not sure how the tender tickets work. Cost for the 4 hrs tour is more than half less than the same princess tour.

We are both widows who traveled extensively before we lost our husbands and miss travelling and this one really appeals to us. We thought of 2020 but I am not getting any younger so will splurge for 2019.

My sister and I are planning a trip to Alaska next year and are thinking of this particular trip. Reading you excellent review has helped up make up our mind that this is definitely the one we would like to do.
