Pursuit’s October cruise that transits the Red Sea is yet to be cancelled, although it’s only a matter of time, so 2025 would be after that I would assume.

    Hello,

Im on the October 26th cruise out of Athens going to Dubai down the Suez Canal. I did get an itinerary change last month cancelling port of Eliate but that’s it.

I guess they are still hoping Red Sea issue will soon resolve itself. Not sure what to do about booking flights.

  2. Hello,

We have booked our 2nd cruise with Azamara, 1st one cancelled due to Covid. Not familiar with the brand other than it was previously owned by Royal Caribbean.

I received the 5% offer if payed in full but passed on it. I have now received the 10% offer and thinking it over.
Should we be concerned with the financial heath of Azamara? It’s a lot of money to payout with over 6 months to departure.

Another concern is that our cruise is sailing the Suez Canal from Athens to Dubai in October. If cancelled will it be difficult to get a refund?

    Thanks for you thought!

    Ron

We need parking for 5 weeks in Jan/Feb and have found Skypark to have the best rate $230 and they are quick to shuttle to the airport and the car is cleaned and pickup is quick on arrival back. Can’t find a better price yet.

Try Westjet Park N Fly rate. 1 month February to March for $195.00 valet or $165.00 lot B.

I did end up doing this trip after my cruise, and it went really well.  We took the train up to Katoomba per the write up I posted.  We caught the HoHo bus we had already booked.  We did not do Scenic World as their website mentioned a few things were closed.  We got off the HoHo at stop 6, hiked along the trails, all the way to Scenic World where we hopped back onto the HoHo.  We rode the bus into Leura, and walked about the cute little town and shopped.  We caught the train back to Sydney from Leura.  Not counting the train to Katoomba, and the little bit of time on the first part of the HoHo, we spent a several hours hiking along the trails, taking pics, and me trying to "recover" from the heat.   My companion was good to allow me to rest as needed.  It was a full day, and I'm glad we did the hike in the end.

As for the previous poster, I am not sure I would hike from Scenic World to Leura.  It is partially residential, and not really a hiking area.  The trails from SW back to Honeymoon Lookout, Three Sisters, and Prince Henry Cliff walk is a better walk and view.  I mean you can walk to Leura but it isn't what I think of as a hike.  YMMV

Hello again, sorry I meant can you walk the trails Scenic World to Three Sisters and Prince Henry Cliff and continue on the trails into Leura. The map I have indicates this somewhat but still unsure of time it would take.

    thanks!

I would suggest, that as you have around four days in Sydney before flying home that if you want to go to the Blue Mountains, do it on the 3rd day. That way, there is no rush on your last day in Sydney and you can do as little or as much as you want. Whether you go to the Blue Mountains or spend another day in Sydney will depend on what you want to do and see there and how much you want to pack into one day.

    Hello possum52,

I hope you can answer this question,

we are planning a visit to Blue Mountains via train and then taking local bus to Scenic World. We intend to do Scenic World first and to some hikes to Leura.

Is this feasible? How long would it be and how much time should it take?
    Thanks in advance!

We will be parking at the valet lot for our 3 weeks beginning mid January. When DH first looked at rates back in the summer, it was going to cost around $500. When he went back yesterday to look, there was a coupon offer that reduced the price to $262. So he booked it before they changed the offer. We've seen similar coupon offers in the past.

Try going through Westjet. They have a coupon for Parknfly that will allow me to park for 4 weeks in February for only $165.00

The latest casino offer I received expired on March 15.  Hoping for another one . . . anyone recieved a new offer since the 15th?

I receive theses offers 2 or 3 times a month. The latest was a guaranteed balcony,  some play money and free drinks while playing….so I accepted.
