I would say don't spend the money on a cab back from Hamilton, instead go to Cambridge Beaches which is fairly close to dockyard, 10 minute drive. So a much less expensive taxi each way, stunning sunsets, and a delightful menu. Food is definitely pricier, but you would save on the taxi home.

Mickey's is a great suggestion, or Cafe Lido at Elbow too. Or maybe one of the restaurants at the Reef's. Closer to Dockyard is Cambridge Beaches which has a couple of nice places that could do a special dinner.

Drugs are illegal in Bermuda. If you don't want to pay the fine, don't bring them into their country. Simple as that.

You could also check out Devil's Isle on Barnaby Street.

Says they went to inspect the tender in Cancun. Holds 400 passengers. Maybe one of UltraMar's ferries

Looks like Royal Caribbean will be adding some Bermuda sailings in September and October 2018 from Boston on the Serenade of the Seas, in addition to the Anthem sailings from Bayonne and Grandeur from Baltimore. Serenade is a lovely ship, I might consider her next year.

Lots of little coves and inlets just east of Horseshoe Bay, up to Warwick Long Bay. This is Chaplin Bay

A few pics from when there were there in 2009

Glad there will be an option for fun, short cruises to Bermuda. Sort of like what Fantasy Cruises used to offer back in the day..
-
Escape is now listed for 2018 cruises to Bermuda on the NCL website. A newer larger ship for Bermuda.

So it may very well be Adonia. Breaking news to day is that Fathom will be no more by next summer and Adonia is going back to the U.K.

Adonia is calling on October 23rd in Hamilton..

TBC = to be confirmed, I think..

Hmm, I can't think of any of their ships that are 657ft... Aidacara is 634, Aidavita and Aidaaura as 665. Prinsendam is 675 and already listed. I wonder if it is a misprint.

Carnival UK (name TBC) with 657 passengers.. Would that be the Fathom ship, Adonia?

The Insignia will call on Bermuda multiple times out of NYC as part of longer cruises. These will be pricier, but an interesting option to hit St. George's and Hamilton. She will be making 6 calls in Bermuda in 2017
-
So it looks like Bermuda will have 11 more cruise ship calls next year, but because many are from smaller ships, they will have approximately the same amount of passengers arriving. Contract calls are down by 10, I think. But lots more calls at Hamilton and St. George's.

Well this view will sadly be much changed when they build the St. Regis on the beach.. Though it will still be a public beach

From industry sources the majority of the 12 calls on St. George's will actually be new sailings on Oceania for a summer schedule in 2017. While pricier they will be Bermuda sailings, not transats or longer voyages that also stop in Bermuda. As to the ferries, who knows what NCLH is getting. Maybe some preferential docking times / days at Dockyard.

It is from Oceania and Regent. Great for St. George's as they will be multi-day calls with wealthy passengers. And the ferries will make getting to the east end from Dockyard more convenient.

Great news all around. New ferries, 12 calls a year at St. George's. I am assuming the calls there will all be on Oceania and Regent, as they have the only ships in the NCLH fleet that can dock there.

At Dockyard there is the Bermuda Craft Market
