Still trying....See you there Confused Fish...Thanks to everyone who wants better NA choices on Celebrity!! Heres hoping they listen!

I've been off these boards for a while, so I am new to friend requests, but I'm catching up. Confused fish, Please tell me what you have learned about the NA beer selection. I learned that O'Douls is covered in the Premium Alcholic package! MY DH sure would like to see a NA beer that sells domestically for more than $1.00---sold onboard at any cost!

My husband is in the same boat, so to speak! We have a February cruise, and since he suffered the dreaded O'Douls on our last Celebrity cruise, I thought I might drum up a little support for change. Thanks confused fish!

It's really about having good choices on your vacation. No one would want to sail if there was only one entree offering at meals.

Now that Celebrity brags about 100's of wines, lots of beers, and a full selection of vodka, bourbon, rye, scotch, gin, rum, brandy, and cordials --we are hoping they will expand the NA beer selection. Celebrity, please offer something better than ODoul's!

In 2012 Buckler was no longer available, just O'Douls. That was on our Equinox cruise in the Caribbean. At that time, O'Douls was covered under the classic alcoholic package, NOT the non-alcoholic package. As has been previously stated, NA beers sell for the same price as regular beer, therefor they fall under the alcoholic packages. Now, my DH would be glad to purchase whatever package (classic or premium) if it meant he could get a decent NA beer.

In fact, he offered to bring on his own supply, and let the bar sell it back to him! Celebrity refused.

His favorite is Labatts Blue NA, followed by Buckler, St. Pauli Girl, Kaliber, Becks NA, and Clausthaler. There are other NA beers brewed around the world, which will give Celebrity a lot of choice.

Thanks for all the replies/support. I am working on a list of alternative NA beers. (Great suggestion)I really do hope Celebrity will upgrade, and give the NA beer drinker a few good choices. A few years ago their NA beer was Buckler--DH was shocked when O'Douls became the only game in town! What is going on in Purchasing???

I've read these threads until my eyes are bleeding, and if I've missed it I apologize, BUT I want to complain about the lack of choice of non-alcoholic beer. Now, it's for my husband, and he doesn't care what package or what cost--but drinking O 'Douls is a punishment. We have been through this on recent cruises, and he has talked to every officer up to the Captiain, but it seems to be a decision made in purchasing. We have a cruise coming up and I have been campaigning through the Captains Club, but I thought we'd try to make some noise here...

O'Douls was the first widely marketed non-alcoholic beer, but it is not the best. It is not Celebrity-style, it does not mirror the Celebrity brand. I/we would like to see Celebrity offer a premium alternative. After all, there are 50 beers offered, is one NA beer enough?

We just received the rug we purchased in Kusadasi in OCT. Fabulous! My husband signed the back, and our beautiful rug is now on our floor. The best advice I read in Cruise Critic is to take color swatches. You think you know your colors, but the selection is so great you can become confused. Bargain with a great attitude and you will get a lovely treasure! Oh, and take a picture before they roll it up! (It helps with the anticipation)

The worst--I forgot all of my makeup. The bag was hanging behind my bathroom door, and was still there when I got home. Although I felt something was missing everytime I dressed (it was) I survived, and even got passed it. Traveling means taking lit as it comes!
