The Carnival app tells me check-in is not available until this Monday, 15th.

For anyone wondering, Venezia is now officially

        SOLD OUT.

Probable passenger count is about 4100.

Wonderful, you will round out the group to 8.

Now we just need 2 more companions to make 8 for this delightful Azores tour!

And… In looking briefly at the ship-sponsored excursions, it seems this excursion is about 1/2 less than something similar advertised by Carnival.

It appears there are now 4 of us going. Would love to get another 4 to fill the van.  
Price seems to be quite good for the length (7-8 hours) and places visited.
Total $75 per person.

The rating is given by an executive  Board  in the cruise industry.
I’m going to speak with a travel agent and try to find out more specifics.

A QUESTION...

Anyone know/guess why Venetia is carrying a 4.5-star rating, and not a 5?  Seems strange for a ship that is practically brand new (very few sailings), and now undergoing 3 months of drydock with major rehabs - new dining and other re-done venues for the American market.

From every picture and video I've seen, the ship is really magnificent, and seems to be introducing a whole new aura of elegance and class for Carnival.  

So why 4.5 star?   🤨

I’ve heard of that good ministry, but this is not connected with them.
I’m a pastor/musician, and enjoy meeting folks during a cruise in a Christian context.
Recently did this on Princess  cruise, and many good friendships were made.

Hope you (and other transAtlantic cruisers!) can stop by and we’ll get to meet and get to know one another; should be a great 15 days.

I enquired  about fridges in the cabins, and received this description from Carnival for all Venezia cabins…

“Nonstocked mini bar unit” means simply a FRIDGE IN EVERY CABIN.

They are actually being installed “as we speak”, as the ship is now in the refit phase in Cadiz, Spain.
