On Anthem in June no prizes and more annoyingly the money you spend on Texas Hold-em does not count towards casino points. Yes it was a live dealer too. Going on Wonder on Sunday 9th October so will give you an update on their poker.

Hi can anyone tell me how you change your free drink you get in your cabin on arrival, my daughters have been getting bottled water for years and are now 21 and would prefer a bottle of beer.

I think the OP is talking about the 30% discount D+ get on the drink package and whether that's combinable with the discounts on board.
Biker, who would guess few D+ get the package and even fewer wait to buy it on board.
Yes that is exactly my issue, I would defo drink more than 5 per day I am on holiday after all 😀

Hi does anyone know if there is a bogo 1/2 price drinks package onboard if you can combine this with D+ Discount.

We always request the table size depending on how many extended family members are cruising with us...If it's just the two of us...always a table for 2....We don't share a table with other's when we go to land based restaurants...why would we want to onboard.
My sentiments exactly.
On our second cruise we were allocated a table with a family of 4, their daughter was similar aged to my girls and they had a son about 6. What a nightmare. The son was on and off the chair sat under the table and generally misbehaved, the parents did nothing about his bad behaviour. Furthermore the Dad couldn't stop blowing about his great job, house, car etc etc etc
We did complain to MDR manager however they couldn't accommodate us as first sitting was full. However we worked out that this family liked to eat at 6pm sharp therefore we informed the waiter that we would not be not be arriving until 6.45pm which at the time was the last entries for first seating. The waiter was very accommodating and served the horror family quickly and we usually arrived as they were finishing off.
Thankfully RCI have never done this to us again and we have always had a table for just our family.

I love Oxford Street, its walkable from Holiday Inn. Loads of restaurants with outside eating areas and traditional English pubs. Really vibrant and popular with locals.

Tried with my daughter complete waste of money. Tbh I'm surprised that Cupcake Cupboard is still on Indy as it's always empty.

Strange post! You call others "bad apples" for sharing drink packages and then ask if a Platinum member can get Diamond+ discount[emoji848] that would be dishonest as you put it to all other Platinums.
However to answer your question the answer is no. Just off a cruise where I got the Diamond+ discount and my friend didn't, like ur friend she is Platinum.
Finally you are referring to the trial on Harmony starting September so no-one knows what the outcome will be.

Holiday Inn - no need for a taxi u can walk as it's right at the port gate. Grand Harbour is nice too and opposite the Holiday Inn but across a very busy road so u might need a taxi. Premier Inn West Quay also really close just behind Grand Harbour and right outside shopping Mall.

Can you tell me how much was the drinks package to buy on board?

We are on the Independence in June and the drink package is $54.28 a day plus tips. We are on the Grandeur in October and the package is $44 a day. Why isn't it consistent?
Hi we are also on Independence in June, is the price above the onboard price or the cruise planner price?

If D+ is given a 30% discount, can anyone tell me what the D discount is? Would a discount also apply if a drink package is offered/purchased for instance on Day 4 or the 10 drinks for a certain price promo?
Diamond get 20% discount, not sure on your other questions.

BTW we are from the UK and prepaid our gratuitys for MTD and i just checked an hour ago on the C&A cruise planner page and it clearly states the requirement for MTD is to prepay gratuitys.
I'm from the UK too and have MTD booked for June and have not prepaid my tips. This policy was changed over a year ago as I sailed last June with MTD and did not pre-pay tips. Much prefer to give cash.

Anyone can use the Voom package but only one device per drink package. Therefore your son can share it with you. You just give him the access code. When he logs on it will automatically log you out.

Thanks for the update. Can you tell me how much the deluxe drinks package is to buy on board?

Its still £43.42 for my cruise on Indy in June. Would be great if it came down for this cruise also.
-
I have heard from a TA friend that they are being consulted as to what changes should be made on Indy as its getting a major refit. Haven't seen that announced yet?

Have stayed in these cabins often and there is defo more vibration and movement than a midship stateroom.
Its also a very long walk to the cabin from the elevators.

Likewise I have 2 daughters both only like water and diluting juice. We always take our own Robinsons R with us. The ice water at dinner is great and both my kids loved it. Windjammer has a few different flavoured waters at breakfast, lunch and dinner.
I had the select package and it cost $231 to upgrade to premium package.

I am interested as well I got a great rate too last year well above the exchange rates available. I think it was around 15/20c above!!

Me and my family have cruised Indy 10 times from Southampton!! We are big fans of the ship. I agree that they had the same shows year on year however being a casino gal that didn't spoil it for us. The skating shows are amazing and the parades and parties on the Royal Promenade are excellent.
We have 2 teenagers who have been offered Florida for a holiday but prefer to cruise Indy every year. The food is plentiful and great variety at the many restaurants.
We always cruise June or July however prefer June as there will be over 1000 kids onboard in July. Pools will be busy but plenty of seats at the bar.
Have done all the ports so if you need any tips let me know.
Embarkation is super fast so don't worry relax and look forward.

Waste of money did the children's class and my daughter was underwhelmed it was so basic would have suited pre-schoolers.
