I think Rule of thumb would be look at the deck plans ... never stay under the theater .. especially under the stage ..

under lido deck where deck parties are if you go to bed early ..

I pick cabins that have cabins above and below and away from a lot of traffic .. on the carnival Conquest series I like those 9202 and 9203 cabins .. you pay for 4 G but get larger cabins with windows overlooking ships forward balcony and they have huge bathrooms that are not step ups since they are handicap cabins. And you can take advantage of that forward balcony that hardly anyone visits for private wonderful views entering and leaving ports .. Now I just have to figure out how to get lounge chairs there .. lol

I put in a bid for 3 1/2 star in zone 6 went as high as 89 .. trying to get Sheraton Old San juan .. with no success ... also searched the enigines for this hotel all came back .. that there is no availabilitu .. trying to get it 2/7/09 precruise nite. Want to be in old San juan to Walk intown and to dinner etc.

Flem .. think we are neighbors .. I am in Merritt Island .. I just booked the Liberty end of Nov ... beginning of Dec. as a garanteed 1A looking to get bumped up to 4a or better ... going single but have to pay double except for taxes, port charges etc. I got great rate 349 .. so total is 759 or so .. I think it is a great deal and so not have to deal with roommate ..

If you are going to be sending post cards take along address labels preprinted so all ya got to do is stick them on ...
