We were there an hour before the first show of the night and in all honesty, our seats weren't great. It's not that tiered so if someone tall is in front of you, you're stuck! It didn't help that people were trying to push in from the stairs and the lifts as the queue management was non-existent.

I would aim for the second show and enter from the back of deck 18 (past the sun bar and you'll see a hidden lift that just goes to 17) or enter from 17 pas through the entry between all the Lido food places not long after the first show has kicked out as you can get the seats you want and have a drink at the bar there as you enter.

Don't try and enter from the sea view bar on 17 as they lock the doors there.

We spoke to the entertainment director and he said they're trying out lots of new methods trying to get the entry right, so this may change.

    Hope this helps

What are the times of the first and second show?

  2. I am scheduled for a November cruise and I was able to book our dining;  our cruise won't be fully paid until August.  They aren't letting people with Premier Packages book thier dining until after the cruise is paid for.   I suggest that you pay for the cruise now if you have a Premier Package, that way you can make your reservations for dining and specialty dining early so that you get the dining venues you want.

The problem is that the reservations are made on the APP and since we have Reserve Dining the APP sez "You have Reserve, You don't need any stinkin reservations". (I may have mis-quoted).

I have called Princess and their representative had no answer.

I would write a letter to princess and point out the problem the app is presenting;  I think they really pay attention when a customer takes the time to write a letter.

  4.  I just read about a drawback of the premier package.  Today I used the Princess app to make reservations for the Crown Grill even before I fully paid for my Nov. cruise;  in another post on this website a Princess customer who has the premier package for an upcoming cruise, was unable to make a reservation on the app.  He/She called Princess, they said they wouldn't be able to make reservations (lwhich is included in the Premier Package) until the cruise is paid in full.  This person asked about the possibility a specialty restaurant being fully booked by the time they paid for the cruise, the Princess Rep replied they wouldn't be able to do anything about that.  If you have a premier package and want to make reservation at the Crown Grill now,  you might wabt to consider paying for the cruise in full before the due date. I don't have the Premier Package for Nov. Cruise and paid for the dinners with a credit card.

Jumping in late, but the original question was about the cost of Wi-Fi and a glass of wine?  Got to love CC, all the posts almost always end up in an endless and unsolvable argument about gratuities!

This has but most don't 🙂

Despite rising costs, it's still the best way to travel when you're on a budget.
