I'm hoping to book the Catch onboard Sky. On holiday so I have no problem with day or time.

Guess I was spoiled on my previous cruise which was P&O Iona. Lots of choice, loved the Olive Grove.

Thank you, I was unaware. It's fine as I just wanted to see what Princess is like as I have never done one before. May change to Premier and that will sort it out. 🙂

Sorry but they are not restaurants. Re. the MDR, I just don't like large dining rooms. Not to say I wont eat in them, would have just preferred more choice for the evening meal.

What would you do with the 2 'paid for in the package' meals then? We don't have 3 courses either but why pay $8.50 for a pizza when you've already got it paid for, unless you are wanting more than the included ones? We sometimes share an included pizza which means that our 2 each becomes 4 each.
We will have used them up already. I would limit the amount of times in the MDR. Not impressed that no other restaurant is included in the food package.

We 99% never have 3 courses - can you pay for just a main and not the fixed price $14.99 for 3 course (on plus spackage)?

Travelling out of Southampton on the Sky Princess - are we able to take a bottle of Champagne onboard to drink in our cabin?
-
Oh no I absolutely detest shower curtains and this has now put me right off from booking. Such an old fashioned thing.

Thanks, wondered why the delayed departure.

We decanted into bottles on a recent one week cruise, where we only needed 500ml each, gin for me, vodka for our lass. It saved bringing back part full glass bottles.
Yeah, I won't be bring any back 😄😉

Regardless if you received an email or not, anyone who booked the Ultimate Package are now on the Deluxe package.

As a person who will love a G&T on her Balcony, where do you get the Tonic? Do they sell it in a shop onboard?

Add my partner and myself as a couple who managed to escape getting Covid until we sailed on this ship. I thought it a badly run ship with not nearly enough information disseminated. Dining room timings were terrible, we managed to get into breakfast once, being turned away nearly every day due to the restaurant being full. I did not go on holiday to have to eat at a buffet everyday (although it was preferable to the food served in the Minuetto dining room in the evening). Ship did not feel big but that was mainly due to the fact that there was only 1 room to go that was adults only on the entire ship. Did not dare go to the Galleria due to all the children.

Have they changed the muster drills? Up to when I was last on board at the end of May, you watched the drill in the cabin, phoned, then made way to the muster station to have the card scanned.
This is exactly how we did it just last week (16th Oct).

Are you talking about US sailings? Travelling on the Virtuosa on 16th October out of Southampton and did not realise we could not take hair straighteners when I booked it (1st ever cruise). This gives me hope and now have to decide if I want to risk it. TY.
What if I have Premier but all the speciality restaurants are full?
