  1. I am not sure what a card player poker cruise is.  But Royal Caribbean casinos have ATMs available (although, my card has NEVER worked in any of them.)  You can bring cash.  Or you can get an advance on your Seapass card, but there is an extra charge for doing so.  I believe it is 5%  I believe there is a $5000 limit per day of charges to your Seapass

  2. I love Coco Cay, and look for itineraries that include it (yeah, they are easy to find. 🙂 )

I suspect Royal will buy more private islands and offer different experiences on each.  Eventually all of their cruises will be from RCL owned private islands to RCL owned private islands.  I look forward to that personally.

Usually no further out than about 6 hours before boarding.

My last few cruises I was able to watch the safety video in the app the night before.  No problem.  They were aware of the status (watched) and the muster was done in less than :30sec.

  4. 1.  Get a drink

    2.  Connect to wifi

    3.  Schedule activities, shows, any specialty dining in the app

    4.  Get another drink

    5.  Muster

    6.  Get another drink

    7.  Hit a hot tub, either the solarium or the cantilever ones just outside the solarium

    8.  Get more drinks

    9.  Once the cabins are ready, and I'm ready to get out of the hot tub, go find my luggage, get into the room, shower, change, get ready for dinner

  5. I was on an Oasis class ship last March, and two other cruises since then.  So far I have not yet see the event schedule open until embarkation day, and only thru the app on the ship's wifi.  Seems like others have had a different experience lately.

I have another sailing, on an Oasis class in exactly 60 days, and I see none of the onboard activities yet.  Only excursions, and things like the ship tour and guacamole class.  No shows, comedy clubs, escape rooms, etc.

  6. If I have OBC thru a travel agent, or thru the Royal rewards Credit card, is there a way for me to use that OBC to gamble at the table games?  I have no interest in the slot machines.

I don't believe I can just go to the cashier and withdraw the OBC as cash.  Can I ask for an advance against the SeaPass card, but have them deduct from the OBC instead of charging my CC?  Is it subject to the same 20% up charge as advancing cash from the SeaPass?

  7. I don't really have time to shop for a bottle at the port city, and don't want to take a bottle of champaign on an airplane.  And I don't want to drink warm champaign.

Honestly, their costs aren't too bad for the various bottles vs. what the bottle costs on land.  And I'm willing to pay for the convenience.  I just wish they described the service better. 😕

  8. I am booked on a Royal cruise leaving on New Years Eve.  One of the special offers in the cruise planner is called:

    New Year's Champagne

It lists out at $85 / package.  When I click thru to purchase, it shows 4 options for different Champaign (with different price points too.)  I can select the other person in my room, and when I do it doubles the price.

The disclaimer text says it cannot be shared, but it appears to be a whole bottle of Champaign delivered to the room.

    • Packages cannot be shared and are not transferable. No refunds for unconsumed beverages.
    • Must be 21 and over to purchase this product.
    • Purchase today and your package will be delivered to your stateroom on Day One of your sailing.

Does anyone have any more detail or info on what is included with this package?  Glasses?  ice stand? Size of the bottle?  etc?
