I am very interested in the Norway cruise and I was wondering how Saga seated solo passengers at dinner. On Seabourn you always get an invite to dine with the Officers or staff,

Thank you

I chanbge infusion sets every 2-3 days but then there a times that there are problems. I will be traveling with an extra pump and extra sensors. I am looking forward to your replies.

Diabetes is a disease not a disability. Except not being able to go thru body scans no one would know. Also type 1 is an auto immune disease,

Has anyone traveled with an insulin pump? When traveling in US I usually count the days figure out what I need and then multiply it bu 2 or 3. I was planning on a 36 day cruise and that means a lot of supplies. I was hoping someone might have some hints, Thank you

Can you please tell me more about how they handle hosted tables for a solo invitations etc.? The travel agent said that every day there would be an invitation so I did not have to worry about eating alone ( My one big fear for my first solo cruise)

How did they handle getting you good table mates? My fear is my dinner reservation. Do they have solo tables?
How receptive are other passengers to the solo passenger?

If it was your first cruise going solo which cruise line would you choose? I read that Seaborn always makes sure you have a dinner invitation. Crystal has more solo's but now with any tine dinning how is this handled? I would appreciate comments from those who have said on both. Thank you.

Please tell about your experience when you get home. I am trying to figure out the same thing. Also please elaborate on your dinning experience.

As a widow I agree with you it is the unknown that causes fear. We have been used to being a couple now the fifth wheel. I have the same problem, I want to start traveling again but I want to feel comfortable. I am looking at longer cruises of 20 plus days. Any suggestions for cruise lines would be helpful for a senior citizen.

I am trying to figure which line to choose. When factoring in supplements, alcohol, etc they run nearly the same price. When reading the posts on all of the lines for longer cruises the passengers seem ( clicky ) and everyone knows each other. I can handle everything but the meals. Are solos excluded, made welcom or just ignored. How do the staff treat the solos?

Are there may solo passengers on this cruise

Does anyone know if there is anything that Viking helps a solo with? Are all passengers couples or are there some solos? I found a cruise that I am interested in but when cruising especially at meal time I hate to feel line a 5th wheel. On the last cruise most of the people were my age 70 and above so we had many of the same interests. Is english spoken or do I have to use my horrable german?

Which cruise line, premium and luxury, lines are best for solo cruiser? Which have the best programs and passengers the most friendly?

For a solo female which cruise lines take the best care of female solo passengers?

Has anyone done the repositioning cruise from London to the US by way of Iceland? How was it? I have never been on Princes but I have HAL, Sitmar, Cunard, RCl, Carnival, and many more. This will be my first time single, I am now a widow, and I was wondering if this is the cruise for me.
-
I have been looking at the same cruise for after I retire. I am a widow, a professional, who likes good conversation, chess, and exploration of new places. I plan to take scuba lessons before I go. Now that you know a little bit about me what cruise line would be the best.

I am looking for a cruise line that is not only for couples. I will be traveling solo and know I can handle everything except for meals. Do they have a special table for solo guests? If some one has traveled this way would they give me their experience. Thank you.

Last cruise we were in a suite so I had no problems, they put in the suite a 6 ft refrigerator for the medication and everything was perfect. This time I will be traveling alone as a widow so it is an inside for the 35 day cruise, I called ship services and they said it would be stored in the infirmary and I would be charged every time I needed to retrive it. This is does not sound correct. Has anyone else had this problem. Thank you

Thank you so much, When we can cruise again I want to go to Norway probably on an English ship. Because of the distance from the US I will probably be abroad for 3 months. Your Ideas for consolidating all of the supplies is brilliant.
