  1. Hello, I wanted to book the MSC excursion Around the Isle of Spice on Grenada (doing the 7 day Caribbean & Antilles cruise). But when I click on Add to my cruise it gives an error message. Has anyone succeeded to book it? And further, is this a fun tour? Thanks

You mentioned a 8pm leaving time. Let's say the call is for 7:30pm. The ship doesn't close the gangway at 7:31. The ship won't leave until 8:01 or later. I'm just saying if you can get to the port a few minutes past 8 cross your fingers. Once the ship has decided it is going to leave the game is over. It will leave while passengers are running down the dock screaming for the ship 100 yards from the gangway.

Arriving on time is polite for everyone but if things went sideways during the day still try to get to the ship if not very late.

Of course everybody should be on time. No question about that. And there might be traffic when everyone arrives late at the same time. But it is good to know that we can fully enjoy our port days. Makes the planning easier. But I will closely check the daily planner.

Assuming you are asking about a Caribbean cruise, all aboard time is usually a half-hour before sail away time.  It will be posted on the daily planner for that day.

Yes, it is a Caribbean Cruise. Sounds good that this is only half-hour before departure. Gives us a lot of time to enjoy the port day. Thank you!

  4. Hello, I have just finished the web check in for our cruise departing on Feb 5. How long does it usually work until I receive my tickets by email? Further, there was the option to download the documents but I have clicked so many times on this button and nothing worked. And I don't see any way to find this document printing option back in my account. Any suggestions? Thank you!

I'm on the January 29 departure and my embarking time asks for 5pm. I would assume 5-6pm is the last boarding slot as they state on the cruise document that everyone has to be checked in 2 hours prior to departure.

2pm is, while asked by MSC, only a vague suggestion for most based on my experience, across all lines... but you want (ie. HAVE TO) to be onboard no later than 6pm based on documents received.

Thank you. That makes sense! Wishing you a great cruise. We are on the departure on Feb 5 from Guadeloupe.

  6. We are embarking on the MSC Seaside in February in Guadeloupe. Our embarking time is at 2pm. I am wondering if we really have to be there at 2pm or if we could still spend the day on the island and embark around 5-6pm? The departure time of the ship is at 8pm. It is our first cruise so we are completely newbies 🙂 Thanks for any advice.
