From what i understand, Miami is the only Florida port that does this. So NO to Tampa.

 

Cruzaholic. when leaving, you state you must sign an exemption receipt. If i drop off and pick up my disabled wife and then go park, can i sign or does it have to be her? If her, how far is the garage from the baggage drop off area?

See the other post I made. They made me go pick up my Dad even though I had his name on the funpass, it was his car (had his registration and his permit for the placard)!!! Worth the savings though!

But the person has to be in the car. I dropped my dad off at the front door, because he has trouble walking (why he has a placard!!!!). They made me go get him even though I had my funpass with his name and the permit that allows him to have handicap parking. I told them he had trouble walking, hence I dropped him off at the front door. I had to go get him and made him walk all the way to the terminal!! Just a little backwards if you ask me!!

I share my moment with most of the Saints and Sinners group which was on the Destiny B2B a couple of years ago. We were on the Lido Deck and saw a 6' 5" tranvestite in a stars and stripes bikini coming down the spiral stairs adjusting his "package". That visual is burned in our retinas forever. :eek:

Quick question...

 

I know the deal with fruits and veggies, but what about canned meats? Specifically, can you bring Spam onboard?

 

I need it for a mixer. I found an amazing drink recipe that you wouldn't believe unless you tasted it.

On my last cruise I brought organic smooth peanut butter, bisquick, and tomato paste in the tube and had no problems bringing it on. I brought it to give to a friend on one of the Islands.

Do any of the eating venues on the Conquest serve fried okra?

I have not been on the Conquest but have never seen fried Okra on any cruise.

I have never had a problem at Miami dropping it off, tipping the porter, then parking my car. I am thinking of finding another place to park now that it is $20 dollars a day to park there and no free parking with a handicap parking permit.:(
