We are on the same trip and very interested in the answer. I asked my TA and he said that information will probably come when we can check in at 21 days out.
-
How far is it from the port? Is it better to take a tour with the ship or go on our own?
-
Has anyone done tours with Daniel Johnson? We are interested in doing his city tour and visit the animals. I LOVE sloths!
-
My husband and I did it. I'm not sure if it was Cabo or Mazatlan, but they are both similar. We were in a hotel that was a covered outdoor area. It wasn't too hot. They had everyone at round tables and you worked in groups of 2. We had such a good time that we are thinking about doing it again.

We are on the NCL Gem in June and it is our first time in NYC. We would like to know which airport is the best to fly in to and where is the best place to stay. Also, the best way to get to the port from the hotel. We are thinking about flying in late on June 21 and the ship leaves on the 23. We want to spend 1 day in NYC. We would welcome any suggestions on what to do on our 1 day.
Thanks!

Taxi to Coki is approximately $9 per person each way and to Sapphire $10 per person each way. Taxis at both locations for return.
Do you recommend one over the other?
We really are having a hard time deciding.

We are leaving in about 2 weeks on Carnival Fascination. Does anyone know which port we dock at? We are trying to decide on what beach to go to and would really like to go to either Sapphire or Coki depending on how far it is. Can you also tell me approx how much a taxi would be and the best time to arrive there.
Thanks.

We are flying into San Juan airport and staying at the Sheraton that is near the cruise port. Does anyone know what the cost of a taxi to our hotel would be? I was wondering if they had a set price or if there is another way to get to our hotel that would be better.
Thanks in advance.

Thank you so much. Do you have experience with being in suites on Princess? For example, it says complimentary mini bar set up, are you able to customize that at all? Neither my husband nor myself drink alcohol. It would be great if we could substitute the alcohol for water or soda.

We are sailing on the Ruby in October and are in a suite for the first time on Princess. I was wondering what perks Princess offers for the suite passengers or any other information that I may need to know.

Great review. Thank you so much. We are on the Getaway in July. Our friends daughter is one of the dancer/singers. We are really looking forward to the shows. We have been on this itinerary a couple of times before so we have nothing planned. Except for Costa Maya where we will go to Maya Chan. It is a wonderful and very relaxing beach resort. It's low key and not glamorous, but the people who own it and work there are amazing and they treat you like family.

I am sailing on the Getaway in July and would love to get an upsell. Where can you find the phone number to call and when would be the best time to call to possibly get the best deal?
Thanks,

Thanks so much for the great review. I just booked and am going tomorrow. Looking forward to my trip.

Our butler brought us two free bottles of Veuve Clicquot, delivered 8 free shrimp cocktails from Cagney's, a free sitting with the ship's photographer, a private cocktail with the captain in his quarter's, a scale model of the Gem for my grandson, a tour of the women's dressing room during the entertainment dress rehearsals for myself, a $1,000 gift certificate for my wife at Columbia Emeralds, and roped off 4 seats at every bar for us to use for the week. And that was just during the sail away.
I want your butler:D

I'm curious, if you don't mind my asking, what your letter said? I'm in haven on the 10/11 sailing of the BA and I didn't have any pillow option etc. just a general letter with an email address. If I wasn't on these boards, I wouldn't know what to request.
It was an email and it asked us to choose the kind of coffee, tea, and pillow we would like. I think that if you have a Haven or the like, it has more to it. We are in a "SJ" category.
-
I just got the letter from the concierge's office. Does anyone know if they have hot chocolate? We don't drink coffee, but my DH loves to have hot chocolate at night. Also, can you specify which sodas are in the fridge?
The pillow menu looks fun, does anyone have any suggestions on those?
I'm sorry, lots of questions, but we are just so excited.

[quote name=Magickpyggie; He will bring you snacks' date=' but tell him what you like and don't like.
Enjoy, we have never looked back after our first suite adventure.[/quote]
What kind of snacks to they bring so we know what to tell him. Is there a list or do you just know from the last time you were in a suite?
-
scanditaly, we are in 12518 an SJ suite. We've always had inside cabins on NCL before so yes, we are very excited. We just have no idea of what kind of thing we can even ask for in our suite. We are really interested to know what other people use the butlers for.
-
This is our first time having a suite on NCL Star. We are so excited. I have checked out a few threads, but I just want to get some dos and don'ts about suites. I hear that people are asking the butler for things, but for the life of me I can't imagine what to ask for. Let me know what you do and then I can get some ideas of the "wonders" that await us.

I haven't heard anything, but I am going on the Star in November and I checked and there are only 2 to choose from. I hope that there will be more thank that because really neither one sounds great.
-
I just noticed that all the excursions for Harvest Caye have been removed from the options for my cruise. Last week on my MyNCL account there were 11possible excursions that could be booked. Today, all gone. I am really hoping we Port by Belize City.:)
I'm on the Star in November and I just went to myNCL to check if it was the same for me and there are now only 2 to choose from. Maybe it's because it won't be finished yet. There is still time. We shall see.

We did the Amazing Cozumel Race. It's set up sort of like the tv show. You have clues and you go around with your team and solve them. You end up doing about 5 miles and get to see parts of Cozumel that are not touristy. You end up at this little restaurant for lunch (you pay) and the food is wonderful. I found it on line. We had a great time.

Do they still do massages? If so, about what was the cost?
We had a massage when we were there last year. It was the worst one I've ever had. The men were rough and their hands were like sand paper. They spoke to each other in Spanish the entire time. Not relaxing at all. BUT Maya Chan is pure heaven. We will be going back when we are there in November and I can't wait!

Try these guys: http://www.eleutheratours.com/
They offer one that they say is specifically available to visitors to Princess Cay. I just emailed them this morning to see if they offer any of the other tours to Princess guests.
I just checked their site. They said that they can not offer excursions to Princess Cay any longer.
Alaska Land and Sea and Covid testing

I printed out all my information today. I'm getting very excited for this trip. Most of my questions were answered, except the one about taking a COVID test before we get on the ship. I put a call in to my TA, but he hasn't called me back yet. I wonder if he even knows. We will see.
