Facebook post says they are no longer taking reservations

Docking in Palma next week and are going to Palmanova for a beach day. Any recommendations on the best beach bar/restaurant? Just looking for cheapish drinks and sandwiches/wraps. Also what part of the beach would you recommend laying out on? Thanks!

We’re tentatively scheduled to port in Marseille on June 18 on the Oasis of the Seas.

We are on that same cruise. Apparently the traffic in marseille was horrendous today based on their FB sailing. 90 minutes to get to the old port from the ship. People with taxis and Ubers seemed to report better luck. BUT that was all without a port closure...

Has anyone done this recently with Royal? I saw on a cruise planner that the Royal shuttle from port to city center is $20/roundtrip. Trying to figure out if that is worth it or if the free shuttle offerred by the port is good. Thanks!

I was researching purchasing train tickets on Trenitalia and all tickets are stating sold out. I was under the impression that train seats on the regional trains or Cinque Terre express did not sell out. Looking at June 19th.

I appreciate the previous response and we will have to plan accordingly if we train.

We are visiting on a cruise ship and Port in La Spezia. I have a boat tour scheduled and I’m trying to decide whether we should start the tour in La Spezia, Manarola or Monterosso. My concern with starting it in La Spezia is the time it takes to get to the Cinque Terre and the possible sea conditions. Advice would be appreciated!

On the Oasis that day and we have purchased our Naples to Capri tickets already to make sure we are on the 8:35am ferry. Worth the risk to be on the ferry we want

I've been researching Mallorca and Palma Nova keeps coming up as a nice beach. I've read its about a $20 taxi ride

We are on this cruise the next week and are doing Capri from Naples. Taking a ferry over to Capri and then a private boat tour. Prices were very reasonable. I think our 4 hour tour is approx $500

Trying not to overthink this. I have to be at the Vatican museum steps by 10:15am for a tour. The express train takes longer than the 8:42am train. It makes more sense just to take that one than the express, right? That’s the type of train I can purchase the BIRG pass for as well right? Thanks so much!  

Arriving June 17 on Oasis of the Seas into Palma and looking at transportation options to visit different beaches. We are open to a Taxi to PalmaNova beach, but for the same price we could potentially rent a Vespa scooter for the day. Has anyone done this and is it safe/recommended to rent scooters in Mallorca? Would we be able to visit different beaches in a reasonable distance by renting a scooter. Thanks!

We cruise in later June and there are no trains available from the port to Rome. How far in advance do they post them?
