We just got off the Gem and I wanted to share this tip. We booked one excursion and also bought a Norwegian branded item. We are Latitudes members and were entitled to a 10% discount but forgot to mention it (I know, our fault....that's why I'm sharing) please mention if your a latitudes member and get your discount since no one mentioned it to us.

Did you know that there is a search function? If you typed your title into the little search box for the forum, you'd get a BUNCH of reviews/threads that will answer your question.

I really enjoyed our's on the Breakaway. You could park my Honda Pilot on it, it's huge!! Very relaxing and enjoyable.

Well, we went from in Inside (I think an IA) to an outside with porthole. I'm excited about having the porthole if the waves get high it's like being in a washing machine! ;)

Well, I called my agent and they sent me a form for a price adjustment. Hopefully we will get upgraded to a nicer cabin. (We're really not that picky but what the heck, we paid for it!) ;)

We sail on the Gem in 3 weeks! And the price has dropped on our inside cabin from $850 to $599. Should I call my TA in the morning and try to get some credit or a better cabin? Just wondering if anyone has had any experience with this situation. Thanks, Lisa

I have been fighting breast cancer since 2001...young cancer survivor...now have metastatic breast cancer since 2011...very tough existence. My last cruise I was in a wheelchair but had a great time...If you need any help or someone to chat with, please im me!

Who want's a "continental" breakfast?? I want eggs, sausage, french toast, etc....go to the dining room!!!!

 

 

We like coffee delivered so we'd get a few pastries. We call it our 'pre breakfast' breakfast! ;)

Yes! Everything is pretty much included except for restaurant specials and the drink of the day.

I felt happier than happy to get out of work today...last year at this time I was recovering from a hip replacement and femur rodding due to metastatic cancer in my bones. So happy that this has been a better year...last year was so tough!! My wonderful hubby, Tracy and I deserve this trip so much!
