How is the coffee at Rosie's on the lido on Valor? Is it the same as on the Liberty and Breeze? I thought they were good because they used ground coffee, not syrup concentrate.

Since the Retreat Pool looks so nice, and since there is no extra charge, I'd suspect it is a chair hog magnet. Does Princess enforce a chair hog policy at the Retreat Pool on the Royal?

All of the Carnival ships I have been on had pretty good coffee in the lido buffet. The machines look exactly like the ones on the Royal Princess. This is a good change from the awful syrup coffee other Princess ships have. Good coffee is a big deal to me, so at least the coffee card could come to the rescue. But it was often an inconvenience to have to traipse down to the IC when you wanted your coffee somewhere else. I suppose there are bigger problems in the world, but it's good that this one has been fixed.

We are in M608. Glad to hear HC is carpeted and our cabin should be quiet.

Is the seating area in the Horizon Court/Bistro carpeted? We always book a balcony on the deck below the Lido in order to have an extended overhang. If the seating area is carpeted then we do not get noise from the chairs being moved around. We can't figure out where the seating is from the deck plans.
