Hey stranger, how’s it going? Haven’t talked to you in ages. Which cruise did you book in May? We’re on Connie, May 2nd.

My cousin and I are on NCL Star Med cruise May 12th. Barcelona to Venice...sound familiar? My friends and I did a cruise around the Hawaiian islands last fall and really liked NCL. We’re doing an Alaskan cruise in September with them too. I was pleasantly surprised..... never considered NCL before. I hope this next cruise is as good as the last one. Jim and I haven’t been able to do much traveling. I’ve had back problems that limited my traveling.

We just started researching hotels and tour companies. I signed up for the roll call and hope to share tour costs.

I looooooooooove Igigi. If I worked, I would wear their stuff every day-but I'm usually in yoga pants and a tank top. If you "like" them on Facebook, they post a lot of 6 hour sales and "secret" coupon codes that they don't send out through email.

 

This dress is AH-mazing. We don't leave until tomorrow and I keep putting this dress on and looking at myself (then again, I'm vain)-I did have to have 4" cut off and then another inch hemmed so I could wear it with 3.5" heels-it's really really long.

If you can, please post a picture when you return from your cruise. Enjoy yourself!!!

Try igigi for dresses with sleeves that definitely aren't grandma. This is the dress I"m wearing for formal night on our cruise next week-it's definitely NOT grandma! (no, that's so not me in the picture!)

I tried to make a payment over the weekend on our 2010 cruise and the website wouldn't accept it. The customer rep said they are having problems. Also tried to check the price of another cruise today, and wasn't able to do that either.

Thanks...I guess I'll try for the aft cabins...hopefully one is still available. The cruise isn't until Feb. 2009.

Thank you. We just came back from a cruise on Jewel of the Seas and had a big balcony on deck 7...cabin 7038. It was partially covered, but I really liked that it was larger. I'm trying to decide for a South America Rio Carnaval cruise in 2009.

If you had your choice, would you book an aft cabin or a hump cabin on Radiance of the Seas? Any deck preferable? I've always wanted an aft, but now can't decide.

How much noise do you hear form the Centrum on the port side of the hump?

Apparently Celebrity does a completely different penguin tour from Puerto Arenas to Punta Tombo than the one we took privately (middle of January) (and also the ones taken by those on our Oceania Insignia's tour). After the drive, we walked less than five minutes and were absolutely surrounded by over 500,000 penguins - UP CLOSE AND VERY PERSONAL! No "knot holes" or fences at all!
