RN you have instant in your room, free at Cafe Promenade, or paid at Patisserie, both of which have long lines.

 

Also no full fat cream with the free coffee which Carnival has.

Geez. Both TA ships have emergency detour stop. Wonder how often this happens?  Hadn’t thought about this when considering 9 days in middle of ocean. 😯. Hope they will be ok. 🙏

Considering a repositioning cruise. What is weather like?  Which region and which season will have better weather?  I am apprehensive about rocky seas?? I worry about Fall during Hurricane season.  Appreciate thoughts from frequent cruisers. 

Why are the cruises to Japan only 4 or 5 days RT to Shanghai?  Rather than longer cruises.

What is a GTY?  I haven’t seen that offered. Are you referring to a “RC picks the room” vs you pick?

Grand Turk sounds like a great swap!  Why doesn’t RC sail to Turks & Caicos on regular basis?  This is on my bucket list, but don’t really want to go on Carnival.

We have a cruise booked for Feb 2025 (it is a Next Cruise booking), and I see that it is now $500 cheaper. Anyone have experience trying to get a price reduction from RCL?

Well, at least a little compensation. But very disappointing when you have been planning for so long, I’m sure. Hope the rest of your trip is perfect!  

What’s the deal with that?  Why would they cancel Dunedin already for a Mar cruise?  Must be a Pier/Port problem?  Anyone know?  We haven’t yet been notified for next week cruise. 🤷‍♀️

Oh no. That stinks!  That’s 2 weeks in row skipping Dunedin. (I think). Are you still supposed to go through Sounds?

Anxious to read how your weather is, and if any port cancels like last week. We will be on the next cruise. 

No free lobster in MDR on our 9 night cruise out of Rome in September. We were very disappointed. It was occasionally offered for an up charge.

Some of the guest entertainment onboard has been very good. There was a lady called Yoomia who played the violin in Jimmy Choo high heels. Very vibrant and lively.
But the best by far were the Rat Pack Reloaded, very slick and suave.. imagine a group of George Clooney look alike silver foxes ☺️.. possibly one of the best shows I’ve ever seen on board a ship!

So I’m not sure who is still with me on this one, but I hope you’ve enjoyed sailing along, and I’ve given you a taste of this Great Southern Land.
