  1. @bluemarble thanks for the additional information. If that trend continues there may be another 2 price increases before I sail! @Luna-Boo I do enjoy an alcoholic cocktail, so that's a useful price increases to be aware of
  2. Thanks @D&N following your tip I looked at the Golden Lion menu from May23 and used that to re-run my maths. You're right, the soft drinks prices haven't changed significantly. So, I'm going to think about it some more 🙂 I hadn't considered the exchange rate, which, on reflection feels quite daft. So, will play that into future calculations. Thanks again
  3. For those who have cruised Cunard before can you advise how often they increase the prices of their drinks packages please? I am not sailing until November 2025 and, had the run the numbers and decided that the premium soft drinks package would be worthwhile. However, the package has now increased by over $4 a day but, the drinks prices on the menus haven't increased. Of course, Cunard may not have uploaded the new menus yet. I now don't know whether to book the package now, or, wait until nearer the sail date and risk further price rises. Many thanks
  4. Hi Jenni, Congrats on keeping your leg and deciding to celebrate! I'm also completely new to cruising and booked my first cruise on 28 March that sails 22 November 2025. It's part of a significant birthday celebrations and we're going to try and see the northern lights. In terms of planning I knew I wanted to do something special and the lights are a bucket list item but, it was a spur of the moment booking. I LOVE to plan so have been trawling these boards and the interweb reviewing previous itineraries, menus and making a long list of things in each port that I'd like to see. So, I don't think it's ever too early to plan, particularly when you're celebrating
