We sail April 26th and haven't heard a word- either travel agent or Carnival email haven't been to either island so really don't care:)

There was a guy who posted yesterday while on the ship- they went to Dominca for sure. I sail next Sunday and sure hope the thrusters are fixed BUT I doubt it. I forget what ship it was awhile back but they went all season with the thrusters not working. Please let us know where you really end up:)

does shipwreck have chairs and umbrellas? any trees/shade around? I know it has a bar and grill but do they have a restroom?

So what can anyone tell me about this tournament? I have a seat in it, its May 24, 2015 on the Dream. But how crazy is it on the ship, do you get to play very much? Fill me in please, want to know if its worth going on this cruise thanks

Hi, we have a wedding group of 25 people and 11 rooms. We have some really awesome goodie bags rather large in size. Does anyone know if I will have a problem bringing them on board. We will check our regular luggage and I want to put the goodie bags in duffle bags and carry them on board. There is no soda, water or booze in the goodie bags or food. any thoughts?

they just had a post about airlines not using them, has to do with Mexico's heavy rains/cartels and Calif drought and the price has tripled, like I said before bring your own to be safe

last time we cruised I took on my own limes, I then had enough for the whole cruise!:D

I just got off the phone with Carnival, I received our 25% credit for on board credit but I thought there were other perks involved anyone else know? One thing I thought we got was a steakhouse meal? The lady at Carnival couldn't find anything else

We place them in wine diapers (yes, that's a real thing) and put them in the pockets of our Vera Bradley totes.

These are hard to find I've used mine over and over!:D

We buy our wine at home and drive to the port, which is a 24 hour drive, so I wrap it in bubble wrap and stick it in the backpack I use as a carry on.

this is exactly what we do, but at Miami port they unwrap the wine and inspect the wine bottle cork area:rolleyes:

if you have any tender ports- then its priority boarding tender boats:D

Thanks everyone for the great ideas. We might go with the cruise cash. However today my daughter expressed interest in two different excursions. One was the Amazing Cozumel Race and the other is the Stringray Sandbar, Hell, and Turtle Farm Experience in Grand Cayman. Which one is a better excursion?

that's the best way or does your hotel provide shuttle service? if it does then turn car in night before enjoy breakfast and go to port early. that's what we do:) day less rental and no taxi charge to port

After reading some threads I'm a little worried about how crazy the beach might be and is it something we should still plan on? Thinking we would go to Eagle beach. Any info would be great

I was excited to see your Bon Vonage dept info BUT it has changed I just got off the phone with the dept you can now only order 2 items meaning - 1 bottle or 2 bottles of booze or 1-4 pack of beer and 1 bottle or 2 -4 packs of beer. I even asked if friends could buy us extra beer packs the answer was no. It's a limit of 2 items (booze) per cabin. :(They still charge tax on it. They really are limiting it to what you can pre buy.

One of my favorite gadgets is bringing heavy duty clips - like clothes pins we use these every time we cruise to hold our towels onto our chairs. And we have always used our bungee cord- we have never had a door stay open on its own or a doorstop. I also bring my own corkscrew. Thanks for all the great ideas would like to know more about those cleaver shoes. Karon:)
