  1. Thanks for taking the time to explain in good detail
  2. We did the chefs table night on the Iona (Dec 23/Jan 24) and the walk through was closed off but on the Arvia in march with 2 chefs table nights booked, we all got dressed up in best outfits only to find that while enjoying the food we had people wandering past in swim wear, bath robes ect and one family even came past with kids bouncing there footballs as they walk, We canceled the second booking. its not as though it's the only way from one side to the other as there is large central corridor on the ship. that said even in the dress up night in main restaurants there was parents that allowed kids to wear football shirts and shorts!!. on different subject but related a good few parents allowed the kids to take I pads and the like into restaurant to play games on while eating the evening meal. Standards in general are getting worse not just on cruises.
  3. Thanks guys that makes sense, I can have a look now as too what we have already booked (Arvia transatlantic in Oct/Nov)
  4. Hi fellow cruise's. When we were on the arvia last we were on deck 5 in balcony cabin (shaded type), the cabin we had was laid out with the bed near the wardrobes with the settee next to balcony and we noticed some cabins near us had the bed next to the balcony and the settee next to wardrobes, is there any way of knowing which cabins are laid with the the bed next to balcony as it seems a much better option?
