Does anyone know how travel insurance will work for this? We are booked on Amtrak at 215pm and will be missing the train and Saturdays is sold out so it looks like Sunday will be my first opportunity to get the train and we will have to stay in new York two night then. 

We are scheduled to be on the may 26 NYC to Southampton primarily as transportation as I don't fly. We are scheduled to be on the June 3 ncl British isles. If they do end up cancelling the may 26, would our insurance reimburse us if we can't make that ncl because of that trip being cancelled?

My husband and I were looking at the rt crown princess Hawaiian itinerary. My husband would need to work if we went on sometime this long and he wanted to know if the internet would be reliable enough for him to. Thank you!

We just got off the Meraviglia Thursday. We were wooed by the amazing prices. We had two cabins - a balcony for us and an inside for our adult college kids. What I have told others is that we loved the trip but not the cruise. With two kids in college, we don't get to have the four of us together uninterrupted very often, so of course we loved that. But, I'm pretty sure that's our one and done for msc. The cabins themselves were fine, but that's where my compliments end. Customer service was non existent. We never met our room steward. We had requested early dining, was given 9pm, told they could do 830 but that was it. So we ate at speciality restaurants or the buffet the whole trip. I will say the food at teppanyaki and hola was very good. The buffet had no flavor. The pizza was the best option usually. The pot smell was every where and the excessive drinking put carnival to shame. Many of the offerings weren't available or they were out of them such as the crepe place. Oh the coffee in the chocolate shop was really good. It just wasn't a good fit for us. 

I am on deck 11 and the helicopter and coast guard boat are out here too. Praying for this person and their family.

What is the earliest I should book our London to Paris eurostar from st pancras if we use a private car and self luggage on the qm2 from Southampton? Thank you!!

Its me and my two kids so a second cabin isnt a possibility. Did my daily phone call and its still a no go. Todays csr told me with it being a week from today the odds are fairly close to slim to none especially adding the triple occupancy. So, while I may be 1 on the waitlist, it has to be a triple or they will go to the next in line. Everybody here has been so supportive though. Thank you :)

The way they explained it to me is that the room will accommodate the three of us but because of the numbers they can have per lifeboat and fIre codes they can only have so many triples and quads and once they reach that number they can't take any more even if the room can accommodate.

I called and I am still waitlisted and I can't do the mini suite because I need triple occupancy. Ugh...

I didn't book qm2 yet bc of being in no cancellation stage but there was still availability on my ta back. It's an all or nothing so if this doesn't happen, we will do a land trip in the US. It will be fine either way.

I am in Georgia so I can get to ft Lauderdale with a 48 hours notice. I would rent a car and drive. I don't fly. My alternate plans include amtrak travel and the longer I wait the more sleeper options close. I wouldn't probably go to ft Lauderdale to just wait, so if I don't hear by the end of the weekend, that may be the end of my ocd planning tolerance.

I am currently #1 for every category on the may 28th Transatlantic on the Pacific princess. It leaves a week from Saturday. I've pretty much accepted it isn't looking good. When do you just let it go and start making other vacation plans?

I read that thread earlier and it had conflicting information. Some stated it was only for World Cruisers and others said I could. I didnt know if anyone knew for a definite if you could on just the TAs.

We will be going from NY to UK in June on QM2 and will be returning back in July. Is there any way to leave your luggage on board between cruises? We will not have a need for our formal wear while we are touring, so it would be such lightening to our load if we could leave that bag on board. I tried searching but couldn't find anything recent. Thank you!

you dont have to fly! you can always take the train. We are actually taking Amtrak as a kind of "side vacation" with a cross country train trip. We are excited about seeing parts of the country we have never been to on the train!
