I have the Princess Vacation Protection - Standard Plan. Can anyone help me understand what I'm entitled to under a medical reason for cancelling?

FCC being some sort of future credit?

CFAR?

I have an upcoming Alaska cruise and it looks like there is a decent chance I won't be able to make the trip due to unforeseen personal life circumstances. I did the purchase the lower insurance plan which I believe is supposed to provide 75% of the cruise faire back. Has anyone ever had to use the insurance? Can you provide any information on what the process is for making a claim? Thanks in advance to all.

I have a cruise with Princess coming up later this year (first cruise in nearly 15 years) and it just occurred to me that I may have an issue with not having a fan. I use a ceiling fan and a tower fan (mostly for noise) every night when sleeping at home. Traveling usually presents a challenge as the only way I've ever had a ceiling fan is by selecting an AirBnB with ceiling fans. I can't imagine I'm alone in my need for air movement and noise. What is everyone else doing to get a decent nights sleep when cruising?

I've seen these magnetic hooks recommended several times in other places. Have you been able to fly with these in your checked luggage? I can't see why not but I'll be flying to the port city and don't want to have any issues.

I'll be on a 10 day cruise later this year and I'm curious how the experience is with having laundry done? Not having laundry done means I'll need to pack way more clothes than I'd prefer to (or that I even own at the moment) My concern with having laundry done on the cruise is that the clothes may be run on a heat drying cycle which would cause them to shrink. It may be a little unusual, but I air dry my clothes at home. Does anyone have any experience using the laundry services while on a Princess cruise? Should I buy/pack more clothes or go with a little less and use the laundry services?
