Thanks NoSapphire, yes I know how to count the days back in the rolling 180days. What I dont know is, do they gave a passport check / border office when you get on a ship at Tilbury? If the days at sea do count, the system would only know if there is some monitoring of outward passengers at Tilbury?

ok thanks. If they don't stamp it on way out from Tilbury then I think its ok. Do they have passport office there or do you just get on the boat? These post Brexit checks are turning out to be annoying... I'm not sure how closely the days are counted. I did hear a new system is coming in to specifically log days in EU, not sure if that will be in by December

Ive won a 5 day luxury cruise to Amsterdam and German Xmas markets at the start of Dec, obviously a dream come true. However Ive spent the summer from July in France, and have one further week grape picking and so by end of Sept will have used around 87 of 90 days allowance in the last 180 December is still in the 6month window from July! If the Cruise leaves from Tilbury will my passport be stamped outward there, or will only the days docked in Amsterdam and Hamburg count as in EU days. How strict is the counting. If I go one day over will it be a disaster?
