Not in Alaska, but this resident pair is in Big Bear, CA. Unfortunately, this season, their 3 eggs will not hatch.
You daughter might enjoy watching the rest of this nesting season. Come back next January.
I've been watching Jackie and Shadow for a few years now

I notice that the letter above makes no distinction between the "old" Plus and Premier and the "new" Plus and Premier packages. It doesn't tell folks that, if they have the older packages, they will now have to pay.
Just spoke with my TA and she says that since we booked and paid before Dec.14, 2022, we'd have to pay the extra costs

$13 per is already somewhat high, so increasing that won't go well, however increasing the ice cubes might help.
Somewhat? I like to have an occasional rum and coke but I ain't paying that for one.

as Alaska is highly skewed to blue and gold cards ... it would seem natural that those passengers don't know any better , dress up per the website guidelines, and get the picture ...
after that , ... well, honey ... sorry, not this time
Having only cruised with Princess one time so far, what do you mean by "blue and gold cards"?

Another thought, you can build up your immune system at home before you go. And that means you have to be careful with over cleaning and using antibacterial soap. I used to tell people that a couple of months before I travel, I go to the mall and lick all of the hand rails and door knobs. But actually my wife has an in-home daycare and we have germs coming and going all day through the front door.
Close. Hubby and I work in elementary school cafeterias!

No sound. It is more akin to a darkened padded room. Very quiet. Sort of like a sensory deprivation experience. But, if you are sensitive to noise, I recommend that you bring ear plugs. My first cruise I booked an inside cabin. First and last time. It made me feel deprived of light and sound, like I was in solitary confinement. I could hear my watch clicking the second hand. Drove me crazy.
Good luck, and enjoy your cruise.
I agree. We had an inside for our first Princess cruise last Dec. All we did was sleep. 11 days

Quick question; where does one buy Princess gift cards? I've seen Disney and Universal Studios cards in my area but never a cruise line

From SeaTac to a hotel, then the next morning to the port.
This is what we'll be doing next year

Our friends have R746 and we have 747 on our July 202 Alaska cruise.

It depends upon the length of the cruise. Longer, 12+ days, the amount is $250.
Thank you Wichard, that makes sense.

And let me guess, a Motel 6 lodging budget. And you're coming to Seattle.
Oy.
😉
Motel 6 is even below my standards.

I live in Florida - they asked me if I wanted the "V" on my license and I said OK. They charged me $1.00 and no stores recognize it!
I'm in Oklahoma. Ours have an American flag and the word "veteran" in the upper, left corner. I make sure to point it out.

Own 100 shares of carnival stock and receive onboard credit for each voyage. And now it appears the program no longer requires your voyage to be within 90 days to have the obc added to your cruise personalizer.
We faxed in forms for 4 voyages a few weeks and all received the credit within a couple hours even with voyages from 4 weeks to nearly two years in the future.
I know it varies, but how much is a share?

S&S no bargain. Currently have a 10 day cruise for two for $3954 including $550 OBC. To refare to S&S would be $6314 and only 250 OBC (200 military and 50 TA).
No thanks.
I thought military was only $100 per vet.

The rates and room types are right there when you put in the dates you want. 🤔
You must be a long way out for your cruise?
We use them often. They have several locations around the city.
Seattle is not cheap in the summer.
Yes, I'm a year out. But I did manage to get one booked for $149 at the Hilton Sea Tac and Conference Center. They off a free airport shuttle and a shuttle to port for a small fee. I got a courtyard view.

I checked out their webpage and they don't give rates until you book or it's too early to get the info. But thank you. I'll keep checking.
We are booked at "Hotel 116" for $204.00 Thought I'd do some checking for something a bit cheaper.

I was told by a local airport hotel that the cost of a cab to the port from the airport would be around $70. For what its worth. 😀
OOF TAH!
Best things onboard Alaska cruises, not the excursions... Also what kind of entertainment to expect.

That's not too bad really. I pulled the same book up on Amazon and it was $53
