There were a few cruise directors that my family really liked. Malcolm was a CD that we really enjoyed. Though I think many people found his Woo Hoo, somewhat annoying. Mike Pack was also good. The rest of the CD were forgettable.
We got back from the Mardi Gras earlier this month and Lee was our CD. I didn't find him to be that great, but I kept running into him on the Lido deck, while he was eating dinner.

My family was on the June 25th to July 2nd MG sailing. My BIL tested positive when he got home. There were several people posting on the Facebook group, testing positive when they got home too.

The app didn't work that well on my phone. I couldn't get anything to work. It looked exactly like the screenshots above. It never bothered me that much because I didn't use the app that much. However if we take another cruise next year, I hope the app works.

We got off the Horizon yesterday and we are Platinum. The representative at the pier said that our rooms would be ready as soon as we got on the ship and our bags would be waiting for us. We boarded the Horizon at 11:30 and neither our rooms nor our bags were waiting for us. We then ended up going to the lido deck for lunch and back down to the room an hour later, where our sign and sail cards were waiting for us and 1 bag (this was about 12:30). The rest of the bags came later.
New Carnival internet prices
in Carnival Cruise Lines

The same thing happened on the Mardi Gras with our T-Mobile phones. We purchased the highest Internet package, but shared the Internet between 7 of us (one person at a time). Throughout the entire cruise we all would receive notifications on our phones. I was constantly checking my phone, to make sure it was still in Airplane mode. It made no sense how these notifications were getting through. The only thing I could think of is that the Carnival Internet was letting these notifications through.
