We went to the Boatyard on our Nov 28 Equinox sailing. No issues. The Boatyard was very strict about masking when in the bar area. Same was true of the shuttle/taxi service. No mask required on the beach. Plenty of space between chairs.
Thank you

We were in Barbados on the Silhouette a month ago. I don’t know the answer to your question but if it turns out to be no, I wanted to mention that we booked the Celebrity “excursion” to Harbour Lights and had a very enjoyable morning at the beach. Umbrella and two loungers included. (Same beach along Carlisle Bay as the Boatyard if I’m not mistaken.)Thank you...thats our plan B...we just were hoping to spend a longer time at the beach, as the excursion is only a few hours in length.
Stay safe.

Do you know if when you are in Barbados, does Celebrity consider the shuttle/taxi to the Boatyard an approved tour provider since it takes you directly to the Boatyard and then they shuttle you directly back to the port?

Does anyone have a picture of the new soda cup on the Independence of the Seas?
Thanks

And is there a less expensive alternative?

Is it 24$ per person or 2 people...the taxi rate chart I found online isn't clear?

The WOW sale was better than the BOGO...so we re-priced the b2b we booked a few weeks ago onboard the Oasis of the Seas. The $100 obc that future cruises gave us for each booking remained in full...they had to remove it to re-price our fares...then reinstated it for both weeks.

Not only is there the direct access to the elevator/stairs area inside from the corridor for the cabins but there are two outside doors on each side, one into the cabin corridor, right arrow below and a sliding door to the elevator area which is marked by the arrow on the left of this starboard side shot.
Below are shots of one of the larger P2 cabins, #1860.
Thank you for the pictures.

Elevators and stairways are adjacent to the Vitality Fitness center on deck 12 and are interior to your stateroom hallways.
Thank you

It's a common question, and the answer usually is that you must take a taxi. There does not seem to be any organized inter-termal shuttle.
Thank you

We have just added the Freedom of the Seas (February 12, 2017) to our Allure b2b for January 29/February 5, 2017. Both ships sail out of Port Everglades - has anyone completed their b2b on two different RCI ships in Port Everglades, and if so, did RCI arrange for the transfer of your luggage, also how did you get to the different ship if you were already in Port Everglades?
Thank you

We have just added the Freedom of the Seas (February 12, 2017) to our Allure b2b for January 29/February 5, 2017, and have decided to try one of the new panoramic ocean view staterooms on deck 12. We have never sailed in a cabin other than a balcony; however, being the 3rd cruise in our b2b/2b - it seemed the wisest choice. Has anyone reading this post sailed in one of the new P2 panoramic ocean view staterooms on deck 12, and if so could you please tell me if there are stairs or elevators in the vicinity of the cabins, as the deck plan appears to have us go outside an into an other part of the ship to get to the remainder of the ship?
Thank you

Yes, port fees/taxes are refunded if they miss the port. They gave is a refund yesterday on Vision for missing Grand Cayman.
Thank you.

I know other lines do...I just got off the phone with RCI and she told me that the decision to go to Labadee or not will be made while we are on the Oasis. We sail a week from Saturday.
I asked RCI if an obc would be given of our port fees if they bypass the port...and was told to take it up with the ship.
Has anyone reading this missed a port...and did YOU receive an obc to equal the port fees paid?

I Checked in for My January Cruise on Monday and printed my set sail pass. Since then I haven't been able to access my cruise planner.
Any Ideas?
Same thing happened to me a few weeks back. After almost a week of grief and calling RC... I cleared my cache and now it works again.
Not saying it's the definitive answer...

I have tried all 3 browsers and it keeps on saying loading!
I made our final payments on our Oasis of the Seas b2b earlier this week, and since I completed our travel documents, I haven't been able to see the book cruises information to check prices on booking family members to join us...nor can I see shore excursions...drinks packages...restaurants...shows. I am getting to the proper page and then the site just spins its wheels...
I spoke with a RC agent and he suggested it was my browser...I have tried on my Blackberry, my iPad, and two different browsers on my desktop.
He said he was able to access my account and see everything...so I suggested that perhaps he should have paid my final payments...and then he could choose for us!!!!
He told me to call and someone would do the booking...what fun is that...the best part of planning is to be able to spend a lazy fall day, when the weather is dull and cool, planning what we will be doing in the sunny Cariibean for two weeks in the sunny Caribbean!
I have read that I am not the only one that this is happening to; however, my issues started after others had theirs. Has anyone been able to resolve their issues, and if so could you please share with me how you did it?
Thanks

See post #53.
So the cup has all my data...or just generally if I have the cup, I am presumed to have purchased a package? If it's not tied to my swipe card and thereby non-replaceable.
-
You are given a "special cup" with a lid- you place the cup in a designated spot on the machine then select which soda you want- push the buttons and then enjoy. In addition, you have to wait at least 10 minutes before you can refill the cup.
Do you enter a code...swipe your sail pass...how does it recognize that I purchased a soda package.
Thanks

How does the freestyle machine work, I know that Wendy's has them...but I do the drive through and have never seen one. I googled it, so I know what it is...but I am not sure how it is controlled on a ship. I buy my soda package...and then what?
Thanks

We are on a b2b Oasis of the Seas - I am looking for someone who has purchased a basic soda package and/or brought water / soda on board. I have already read the FAQs and it is pretty clear about alcoholic beverages...but extremely vague on non-alcoholic beverages.
1. Does anyone know if the basic soda package also includes cans?, and 2. May we bring on bottles of water and bottles of soda for the cabin?
Also, on a b2b where we are not planning on going into Fort Lauderdale on the crossover day, may we bring 2 additional bottles of wine for the cabin? The FAQs says they confiscate additional wine and return it on the last day of the cruise. Has anyone ever brought on 4 bottles of wine for b2b cruises, and if so, what did RCI do with the 2 additional bottles? Was it confiscated and returned on night 7, or night 14, or did they let you keep it in the cabin with you from day 1.
Thanks

I would bet on Cane Garden but as a former VI resident , I second the suggestion of Virgin Gorda & the Baths.
Cane Garden...been there twice and loved it both times. Beach was clean...people friendly...and there is a small grocery store across the road.

We are on the Pacific Northwest...so I will buy them on the ship...
Thanks again

It depends on the brand. Some are sold as 1 carton, 2 cartons, 5 cartons.
They range in prices of about 23 to 50 per carton depending on brand
Thank you

Covid test 2 days prior to St Maarten?
in Celebrity Cruises
Posted
I believe that only applies to non-vaccinated: The St. Maarten government requires all unvaccinated guests age 10 and older, be tested 2 days prior to disembarking and visiting St. Maarten. Test will be provided onboard.
