Good to here... are you masking in public areas?
Kids and a handful of adults were masking indoors. From what we heard there were under 1000 guests on board this sailing.

Suspect they must have had more positive cases on this week's sailing...
I’m on the July 31 sailing. There were no positive cases this sailing.

If you are going anytime soon I would consider saving money at CoCo Cay. We took the advice from people on sailings before us. The island is designed to hold over 10,000 people. We had 1,075 on our adventure sailing so we could go and sit anywhere we wanted. No lines anywhere and a lot of places you wouldn’t see anyone around. Most people went to the water park or the oasis pool. I didn’t see a single daybed being used and only a couple of the cabanas had anyone in them and those were free upgrades.
We had beach chairs with umbrellas on the front row of the beach and only one other couple was within 50 yards of us with hundreds of empty chairs/umbrellas on each beach. Waiter came around every 15 min for drinks.
We will do a cabana or beach club next summer when it’s back to full capacity but glad I held out for the limited capacity. Saved a lot of unnecessary expenses!
We have been to coco cay before. Wanted something different. Plus we are celebrating our 20th wedding anniversary and wanted to go big

Major turn of events! We ended up canceling the snorkel trip and will do Paradise Beach on our own. This saves us $300
Soooo the price of our Cabana at thrill water park went down $300. We had day passes booked for coco cay. We canceled that. Instead we booked a floating cabana! The price for those went down to $999 for our sailing next week! Between canceling the snorkeling, saving on the thrill cabana, canceling coco club day pass, we got the floating cabana for $5 more!!
So excited. Our daughters will freak when they find out.

Thank you everyone for the feedback! I think we will pass and just go to Paradise Beach which was what we usually do in Cozumel. We had booked this when we had to do an excursion through the cruise line. It’s a lot of money for 4 people. And since we can get off might as well just do what we know and what has gotten good reviews during this time.

If you're looking for something smaller to do, I have been doing snorkeling trips with Tiger out of Marina Fonatur for years. Highly recommend.
Thank you. I will look into it.

I did it last week and didn't enjoy it.
Can you tell me specifically what you didn’t enjoy? We are so torn as to do this or not. We have been to paradise beach several times in the past and may just opt to do that.
We are all vaccinated so we don’t have to even do a ship excursion. The thought of having to wear a mask while on the catamaran isn’t appealing. In a cab we have no problem with

I can’t get any information on port of call thread. Has anyone done the Fury Catamaran snorkel trip since Adventure has been back? We are all vaccinated so we have the freedom to go off on our own but we have had this booked and I can’t find any feed back on how it’s been.

I seems like you are the one being snarky. 😲
You asked (in the wrong forum) and people were attempting to help you.
And it was not that difficult to find your answer in the correct forum.
Regardless:
You're welcome.
Thanks. I looked through every roll call for July and August and looked on Crystal thread and couldn’t find any info. I was just curious as to what facility they were using for check in since they sail the same day. And no I was not being snarky. I didn’t feel comfortable trolling on Crystals thread since I’m not sailing on Crystal. I was more comfortable asking my fellow RCCL cruisers.
-
Because Im not sailing Crystal and I’d rather ask fellow RCCL cruisers. So disregard my question since people can only reply with snarky comments.

I tried but couldn’t find anything

We don’t sail on AOS until 7/31 but was curious if anyone knew where Serenity checks in. I can’t find any info.

Is anyone else having issues accessing cruise planner? I've been trying to get on since last night and I keep getting that 404 error.

My daughter who is now 13 was diagnosed with celiac when she was 7 and we cruise every year. She has never one felt like there wasn't enough food. A little tip, we always bring along gluten free ice cream cones.

what beach does the water taxi bring you to?
-
How is the beach by the Splash Park? I'm having a hard time finding any good pictures of the beach. My girls would like the Splash Park but I'm also looking for a beautiful beach. (I really want to go to Anse Chastanet but that won't happen)
-
Thank you. I will keep updated as to if we will be going to Vigie Beach or not. Our first choice was Anse Chastanet but that doesn't sound doable time wise or money wise from Castries.
yes there are now. great news, your coming. looking forward to having you. ive noted your date and will put your user name on my chalk board look out for it also my chairs have white straps. till then best regards -
Where should we tell the taxi driver to drop us off for Vigie Beach. We will be in St. Lucia on February 17. So it sounds like there are restroom facilities, showers and places to get a snack and beer and chairs.
-
not the first time this has happened to us nor will it be the last. Several years ago we had a great cruise booked on NCL and then they canceled it due to a charter. oh well. what can ya do.
-
I have a feeling they did something like that. Wonder when we will get the email.
In the same cruise. My TA says it has been switched to a 4 night Bahamas cruise.Sent from my iPhone using Forums

Call RCI and ask.

I did and they said that they still see it as still a valid sailing. I don't think they are right.

This sailing had been showing up Sold out for a while and then the other day it is no longer listed as an option and my booked sailing reservation number is no longer an option under my booked sailings. Has anyone heard anything about this sailing being canceled due to charter or anything?
-
I tried doing a search for recent 11 night sailings on the Serenade in hopes to locate cruise compasses but had no luck. Does anyone have any they can post? I'm mainly looking for how many and what nights are formal nights.
-
Both my girls were between 13-15 months old on there first cruise. My oldest is 12 and will be going on her 13th cruise in February and my youngest is 8 and will be going on her 8th.
Me personally I waited until they were no longer using formula and walking.
