  1. Hi

There is another post with the Fun Times from November but glad I could help.

Camp staff were great and they do stay open when at port.

Tip:  Off the camp outside is a little playground that is open for use when the camp is closed.  It is enclosed with seats while the little one will run around.

    Enjoy!

We did one once and it was a great room but it backed up to the elevator shaft so heard that all night. Just look what you back up to

Thanks...the cabins I mentioned above are all the way forward....not near anything but other cabins.  For some reason the entrances are in the hallway that connects port to starboard.

  3. Two considerations thay may help: Harmony will have kids pool for 1year old. Carnival does not allow kids in diapers in any pools on any ships. Harmony has Royal Babies program, where you can pay hourly for childcare. Carnival may have very limited times for this. However, once child turns two Carnival has included childcare almost all the time. Royal starts included care at age 3.

  4. I am platinum on Carnival and went on our first Celebrity (on the Silhouette) in the summer of 2016. We had a great time and enjoyed the entertainment and dining. As the others have stated it is a quieter/older crowd. The ship does not have all the gimmicky slides and activities that people enjoy on Carnival. If you have kids, I would probably look elsewhere although they do have some kids programming. We really did have a great time on the Silhouette but it will probably be a while until we are back on an X ship.

  5. The shower curtain/magnetic hooks idea was great. As far as the Nursery goes...we are pleased with the service. As stated, they let you book 15 hours and then on day 3 allow you to book whatever you would like assuming they are not full.

They will not allow walk-ins on day 1 or 2 even if they are empty unless you use your 15 hours towards this time. Very dumb policy...

  6. I went to the nursery immediately after boarding to grab my spots. I didn’t want to chance anything because I wanted coverage, at the least, during all our scheduled shows.

They max out at 8 kids at a time and two adults. There were times that I was picking my child up and the nursery workers were on the phone telling people there were no available spots at that time.

Thanks, I think we will book as much time as they allow us to.

  7. We leave in a week to sail on Harmony with a 5 year old and a 7 month old. Not concerned about he 5 year old but first time with an infant... any advice? Did you use the RCL pack and play? Was it ok? Did it fit in the cabin? Any other must haves to bring? Thank you!!!

Sounds like we will be on board with you.... ours is 13 months.
