Did you end up booking it? Would love to see a picture of the menu and are the cabana offerings daily or once for a weekly reservation (like do you get a daily bottle of wine)
-
I see the cabanas include wine and frozen non alcoholic drinks….is that included each day with a weekly rental?
-
What about being asked to stay in your cabin and going from port to port hoping you get entry? Are those days behind us?

Hi
There is another post with the Fun Times from November but glad I could help.
Camp staff were great and they do stay open when at port.
Tip: Off the camp outside is a little playground that is open for use when the camp is closed. It is enclosed with seats while the little one will run around.
Enjoy!

Horizon 11208 is not a side door cabin despite where all the deck plans show the door is located. Door is same as a regular interior.
-
Are they still on leave?
-
Horizon
Went back and double checked...can 100% book a 50 min swedish for 12noon or 1pm on embarkation day.
Ive never heard of this before either...
-
I see Carnival allows booking massages during embarkation time. Do they give you a pass so that you cam get to the spa in time?

cruisedeckplans.com you can look at small pics but to see larger ones you need to be a member. You should get what you need though.
Thanks...I checked it out...I did find a couple of cabins on other decks that show the alternate design. Not 100% sure it will be similar but it does help.

We did one once and it was a great room but it backed up to the elevator shaft so heard that all night. Just look what you back up to
Thanks...the cabins I mentioned above are all the way forward....not near anything but other cabins. For some reason the entrances are in the hallway that connects port to starboard.

Does anyone have or know where I can find any photos of the layout of these interior cabins on the Carnival Horizon or Carnival Vista where the door is in the middle of the room?
Looking at cabins 9204, 11207, and 11208 as an example...
Thanks!

Two considerations thay may help: Harmony will have kids pool for 1year old. Carnival does not allow kids in diapers in any pools on any ships. Harmony has Royal Babies program, where you can pay hourly for childcare. Carnival may have very limited times for this. However, once child turns two Carnival has included childcare almost all the time. Royal starts included care at age 3.

I know the OP was attracted to an X itinerary but I find it interesting how many of you went to X from Carnival rather than Princess which is in the Carnival family. We have also sailed Princess and had a great time. It is interesting to note that the loyalty program between RCI companies give you a one time transfer but Carnival does not.

On Harmony it is something like 10 or 11 to 9 or 10. Wish I saw this earlier and would have told you for sure....but these hours are close. It definitely closes down over night.

I am platinum on Carnival and went on our first Celebrity (on the Silhouette) in the summer of 2016. We had a great time and enjoyed the entertainment and dining. As the others have stated it is a quieter/older crowd. The ship does not have all the gimmicky slides and activities that people enjoy on Carnival. If you have kids, I would probably look elsewhere although they do have some kids programming. We really did have a great time on the Silhouette but it will probably be a while until we are back on an X ship.

The shower curtain/magnetic hooks idea was great. As far as the Nursery goes...we are pleased with the service. As stated, they let you book 15 hours and then on day 3 allow you to book whatever you would like assuming they are not full.
They will not allow walk-ins on day 1 or 2 even if they are empty unless you use your 15 hours towards this time. Very dumb policy...

I wonder on day 3 if they let you just book all available time so you can essentially have come and go access

I went to the nursery immediately after boarding to grab my spots. I didn’t want to chance anything because I wanted coverage, at the least, during all our scheduled shows.
They max out at 8 kids at a time and two adults. There were times that I was picking my child up and the nursery workers were on the phone telling people there were no available spots at that time.

Thanks, I think we will book as much time as they allow us to.

We leave in a week to sail on Harmony with a 5 year old and a 7 month old. Not concerned about he 5 year old but first time with an infant... any advice? Did you use the RCL pack and play? Was it ok? Did it fit in the cabin? Any other must haves to bring? Thank you!!!
Sounds like we will be on board with you.... ours is 13 months.

Thanks so much. We are experienced cruisers but first time with an infant. Nice to hear those hours. I wonder how many kids they take...is it really a rush to get there and reserve spots?
-
Also curious....did you get any answers?
-
Is there any type spa pass available for purchase?
-
Do they sell soda cards for this two day?
Mardi Gras Loft 19 cabana, worth the extra?

Is it a pool in the Loft area or a hot tub? I see different things on different sites.
