Sorry. . . the only menu I have is the Diamond, D+, Platinum Breakfast. . .
Radio
:rolleyes::rolleyes:
No problem at all!!! Like the previous poster said, you deserve some kudos from Royal as you're doing a better job than they are at advertising their cruise. Thanks again!

Radio, thanks so much for all of your hard work. This thread is amazing!
BTW, do you happen to have pics of the MDR dinner menus? I know that there are some documents of menus floating around, but actually pictures of the menus would be really cool (if you have them and it's not too much trouble to scan/post). Thx!

on their way guys.
thanks!!

I do have a copy of the menus that are supposed to be implemented fleet wide if you want a copy? They are here, but bit difficult to read, so I do have a Word version available if you would like a copy emailing to you. http://travel.webshots.com/album/573636919JQapKF
Thanks, that would be great. Seems like formal nights are on day 2 and 5, for both western and eastern 7 night FOS. Please send to petedc123@yahoo.com
Thanks much!

As someone else said, food menus would be great so we know when to expect lobster, etc..and which nights are just so-so food wise.
But in any event, this thread is amazing. Thanks so much for taking us along!

Radio,
Do you happen to have any pics of the Concierge Lounge? Thanks!!

We ate breakfast with a lady on LOS that was very exercise conscious. I think she said she even has a trainer and boxes at home. But she said no one used the boxing ring because you had to pay. It wasn't like the flowrider where there were private lessons and you paid, you have to pay everytime and she seemed to make it sound like it was very expensive. SHe said it was a waste of space.
I hope they keep the boxing ring and boxing bag for the Oasis. Looks really cool, and that picture made it look like those folks were having a great time and getting a great workout! The oasis is going to be so huge, I doubt a boxing ring will make a dent. Keep it!

Amazing stuff!!
Can you comment on the pool seating situation; it seems to be packed. I'm sure it's hard to find a chair. Did you have a chance to look at the VIP pool seating for suite guests, were those available or packed as well?
I wonder if they let "regular" guests in the VIP pool area if it's empty. They should.

Along the lines of the previous post, how is the pool seating situation in general in the afternoon. Is it easy to find a chair or are "chair hogs" dominating?

Wow, this is great!! Love the pictures.
And the info about the showtimes etc..is helpful for those of us trying to plan ahead. Looking forward to the compasses as well.
This is a great thread; thanks so much for taking the time to give us all of this info and beautiful pics!!

Thanks for the info!

Does anyone which cabins on Deck 9 are the ones under the Solarium/Whirlpools?
Is it more like 9240/9540 to 9248/9548, or is it more like 9550/9250 to 9560/9260? Anyone know the exact area/range? I've read differing things on CC, so it's not exactly clear to me which cabins are the ones underneath the whirlpools.
Thanks for any info!

Radio,
Please let us know at what time you managed to get on the ship or they started letting people to board. Official time is 4:30pm, but I've heard people boarding well before then (like 11:00am). Always nice to be one of the first ones on board.
Again, have a wonderful cruise!!

We will be on that same route and ship later this month, so we are very much looking forward to your review.
Sounds like you are doing what we plan to do, which is to arrive in Orlando/Port Canaveral a day before the cruise. Quick question (assuming you flew in), how did you get from Orlando airport to the hotel you are staying at in Port Canaveral? We are having a hard time trying to figure out how we are going to get to our hotel from the airport the day before the cruise. Also, how do you plan to get to the port from your hotel, a taxi or shuttle?
It says boarding time is at 4:30 (just like our cruise), but please let us know how early one can get to the Port. Seems like you are going to try to get there early, which is what we like to do.
Thanks and have a great cruise!!

Food in the WJ is similar to the MDR; however, you will not find the more upscale selections (e.g. lobster). You can order room service and get the same meal as the MDR (within the same time frame as the MDR) but again, the more upscale offerings are not available.
Hi Lori,
This is sort of off-topic, but I noticed by searching these board that you stayed in Room 9334 on the Freedom of the Seas. We are thinking of booking that exact same room. What were your overall thoughts on it? We are most concerned about the noises due to being next to the elevators and the possible noise coming from the adjoining room. Did the adjoining room bother you at all; could you hear anything?
Any info would be much appreciated. Thanks!

Can you please send me the compasses for the Western route of the FOS, leaving from Port Canaveral?
Thanks!
-
Someone sent me the Eastern trip compass, which I greatly appreciate. But I will be on the Wester one.
I would appreciate it if someone could send me the Compass for the Western Caribbean trip on FOS?
Thanks very much!

Epic Mini-Suites: Which Have Bathtubs?
in Norwegian Cruise Line
Posted
Hi all,
We are about to book a Mini-Suite on the Epic for a Western Med cruise. Apparently, not all Mini-Suites have bathtubs, is that correct? If so, where could I find out which of the Mini-Suites have bathtubs? It would be great if people could report if they had a bathtub in their Mini-Suite and what the room number was. Any info would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!
