Do you happen to know what time the ‘walk-off’ time slot was? Was it 6:45am? Trying to time a flight home. Thanks!

Strange question/Favor - The usual, Wheel of Fortune $1, does it have a max bet of $4 or $5 to qualify for the spin bonus? Thanks!

I was wondering the same thing. We are in 6166 on Anthem for the Nov 10 sailing. I thought I had read (for another ship) that they lost the couch due to the connecting door.
I know it’s been a while since you were in this cabin, but do you happen to recall if the bed was near the bathroom or the balcony? How was the obstruction? -
Is that new? Using one of the free Diamond drinks loaded on the card in the dining room? I thought when I went last year that wasn’t permitted..

Thanks!

So a strange question. If I bring a lanyard, without a plastic holder, does the pursers desk have a hole puncher? Or, I guess a better question, Carnival uses cards with touch technology meaning they don’t have a swipe on the back, correct? So if I get a lanyard with a plastic holder, I don’t have to worry about taking my card out of it all the time, right?

Once again, thank you everyone for your suggestions.. I appreciate all of your input...

Thanks Eileen!

Thanks for all of your suggestions. Will do. We'll probably do the therapy in the room 1 day (at least), but to keep it 'new' and to keep him engaged with it, I'd love to be able to vary the settings.

Thanks!.. I'm not too worried about the noise from a lounge, but more of the distraction. If a TV is on, he'll watch it.. people walking by, ditto. I'll have to check out the Library.. Thanks, appreciate your quick response!

No, I know the ship isn't quiet, don't worry. I've been on it before. But the next time I go I'll be helping my friend with her husband's Speech Therapy as he recently had a stroke. So i'll need a quiet place with not many distractions. I realize the cabin would work, but I don't want to always be in there. I thought about the Diamond Club in the early afternoon (yes, we're both Diamond members), and when looking at the Deck Plan I saw the Conference Center. Does anyone know if that room is opened and available when not in use? Any other suggestions?

Thanks Everyone!!

Has anyone parked there? How much walking is involved from the garage to the checkin area. My mom has walking issues, so would I be able to drop her off first and then park?
Anyone use any of the off-site parking companies? Pro/con? How frequent was the shuttle? Etc..

Thanks for the quick response! Logistically that made sense, but I thought it was odd to start a hallway with a single door by itself.

Hi! I'm trying to arrange 4 cabins in a row, where each set of rooms have a door right next to them in the same opening of the hallway if that makes sense. I'm looking at the Anthem, Deck 9, and cabins between 9150 and 9158. Normally I'd think that the 1st room at the end of the hallway (9160) would be next to 9158. However, if I work from the other end of the hallway where there are connecting rooms, and go two by two, it would lead me to believe that 9152/9154 and then 9156/9158 have the doors next to one another. Has anyone been in one of these where they can verify?

If you get to the dining room around the time the 1st or 2nd sitting normally starts, you can always ask if there is a table in the Grande. We were on MyTime and one night was sat in the Grande. I guess they use it for overflow.

The date the cruise is booked is usually used by the insurance companies in regards to if they have a waiver for pre-existing. Some will allow you to cover certain pre-existing if the plan is purchased within X days of the original deposit.
As for which date to use, original cruise that was cancelled or new cruise, a lot will have to do with what date the second cruise was actually booked. Was it a new booking #? If yes, then typically the new booking number deposit date would be fine. If it's the old booking number that they used for the new itinerary, and just converted it over, then typically it would go by the old original deposit date.

It depends on what you want covered. If you only want the cruise portion covered, then that's all you'd list as Trip Cost. If you're worried about penalties for the air and hotel as well, then you should include that as well as the cruise price into the Trip Cost amount.

No worries. I had looked at the Port of St Maarten website, so that seems to be off as well. As long as the passengers onboard know the right time, I guess that's more important..

Her scheduled departure time from St Maarten is 6pm

Eleang,
Hope you're having a great sailing. I believe your sailing is visiting St Kitts, correct? I may have a huge favor to ask of you. If you think you may be able to help, can you contact me at my username at America on line (the shorthand abbreviated version of course) dot com.
Thanks in advance!

I have heard that there is a new process being used to embark people onto Anthem. I haven't cruised for 2 years, so I am familiar with the old, cattle call, long lines, go to the desk, give credit card and Passports, get SeaPass cards process.
Is there a new process I should be aware of?
Thanks,
Colleen
Colleen,
Just realized, when are you sailing on her? I was on the Nov 27th 12-night sailing. Is your sailing visiting St Kitts? I may have a huge favor to ask of you. If you think you may be able to help, can you contact me at my username at America on line (the shorthand abbreviated version of course) dot com.

Colleen,
I too hadn't been on a cruise in a few years. I was pleasantly surprised in November at how smooth the check-in process went.
Have a great sailing!

Did you atleast get an invoice showing the original deposit was applied? When I did my Next Cruise on the Anthem late November, the deposit was never posted. if I hadn't checked on it, as I didn't see the charge on my credit card, the booking would have cancelled.
