My wife and I went on a cruise with my wife's sister and a friend a little over a year ago over my objections. I wish I could say that it was a pleasant experience but it was not. I will not go into details out of respect for those that are suffering from Dementia or those that care for those affected.

She was in the early stages on that cruise and over the years has gotten much worse to the point that family relationship are more than strained.You must make your own choices. I do wish you the very best

It is my understanding that the Radiance is scheduled to replace the Jewel out of Tampa after this season and she comes out of refit:)

Our next cruise is 30 days away and the second cruis is April 7,2013:)

Does anyone know if Art on Royal is out of business? I was on the June 16th cruise and bought a piece at the auction but it hasn't arrived yet. On July 9th, I contacted them via email and they replied that the piece would ship around August 11th.

 

I emailed them on Aug 19 and also on Aug 21... no answer.

 

I have tried calling the two numbers on the artactually website, but they ring through as an error ring. I called RCCL and they gave me another number, but I called that number and it says it is out of service.

 

I am going to call RCCL again tomorrow to see if I can get some straight answers, but wanted to check on here first.

 

1) Has anyone received their artwork purchases they bought on Oasis on or after June 16th?

 

2) Has anyone been on Oasis since June 16th and noticed if Art on Royal is still on the ships?

I don't think RCCL is going to be much help most of the retail concerns on the ships are independent contractors

I have always been used to Royal letting me know a few days ahead of the final payment date. They seem to have stopped that as I had one due today and had made a note on the calendar that it was due. I did not hear anything by way of a reminder from Royal.

I have another due on the 19th and have heard nothing on that one either.

What would happen if you were to miss the final payment date? Do they cancel your reservation and refund all you have paid or do they allow you a few days to pay it?

Not sure what would happen,but I wouldn't wait too long I would contact RCCL,it's still your responsibility to pay off. Do you have a TA ?

Well with MTD you choose when you want to eat (within) reason) we did on our last cruise which was on the Freedom as well. We found that we had a lot more flexability. With only two of us dining we never had any problems getting in.:)

The difference between MTD and traditional is you are not seated with the same people for seven days,you you are meeting new people every night.Depending on how you look at that can be a good thing or a bad thing. For us MTD is the way we are going to go from now on:)

In all probability nothing. I always bring a book,but just never get to it:o

Way Too Many I just booked the Allure while on the Freedom. I am looking at 360 days:eek::mad::(

I always take a book that I intend to read,but in all honesty never get to it:D

We are just getting to the point in our cruising that the perks actually mean something. It was nice to have an area in the MDR as a platinum member for just juice cooffe and rolls on debarkation day I HATE GETTING OFF THE SHIP !!!!:(

That's just getting your land bearings back. It effects different people in different ways and length of it.:)But I do suffer from cruise withdrawal quite severely for a couple of weeks:D

Ours is four days away counting today:D

I always try to look for the best in every port that we stop in.For me I just do not feel comfortable about Ocho Rios I have just had too many experiences that have made both my wife and myself feel unsafe:(
