  1. Just returned home from our B2B Conquest 9/13 & 9/21. We bought Vodka both on board & at port on the 8 day 9/13 leg. We were told to pick it up the last morning of the cruise 6-8:30 am in the dining rm. Went at 8 am and it was not available for pick up. It was being "held" in security until the end of our 2nd leg.

The last day of our b2b we again went to the dining room for pick up.

  2. BUMP! Sure glad I'm not the only one waiting for an answer. Would love to hear someone's experience.

We leave Thursday as we are driving to Ft Lauderdale. We will get off the Conquest on the 26th. Then going to Orlando for a day, St Pete's Beach for 2 days, then start our drive back home. I will report how things go.

  3. The resort would NOT allow me to book direct. They said I had to go thru Resorts for a Day. Resorts for a Day were easy to deal with, made my deposit, they e-mailed all important info. Balance due upon arrival.....either cash or credit card will be acceptable.

  4. 1. Order some coffee from Room Service on day 1. You will receive a coffee pot full of coffee with some mugs.

    2. Drink coffee.

    3. Rinse coffee pot and keep in your closet to reuse all week.

    4. As long as you keep the empty in your closet the steward will not take it.

  5. When we did our B2B in New Orleans we told Guest Services we were leaving the ship about 9am and would check back in around 3pm. We had our tickets/passports with us. At 3pm the terminal was empty and check in took about 15 minutes. We had a great day in NOLA.

  6. Husband and I were on the Cunard Countess back in the 80's. (Sunday to Sunday cruise) On Thursday's nights the staff (waiters, cabin stewarts, bartenders ets.) were allowed to invite not more than 2 passengers each, to the crew bar to party on deck 0. We went and had a great time. The guys were playing music on their own instruments, we danced, their crew bar sold drinks for 50 cents, and there was a pool table. Party started about 11:00 and we stayed until 1 or 2. Not sure how long it lasted. We thought it was great. But that was in the "good old days."
