  1. Yes, they do. They are held in the gym, normally 3 times in a 7 day cruise. The cost is about $15 per class, but here is usually a bit of a discount if you sign up for the block- and that may lower the price to about $12. This is pretty comparable with land studio prices.

The classes vary in difficulty- I have been in ship based classes where the majority is on your feet and pretty basic. I have been in classes where you are on your hands for 40% of the class- and spending 3 to 5 minutes in pigeon. (Your wife will get this).

I think yoga at sea is best when the ocean is bumpy- nothing funnier than 16 people falling out of warrior 2 in slo-mo unison.

I do a bit of yoga, so I am happy to answer specific questions.

Thanks so much, will head straight to the gym when we arrive.

  2. That pier is (I believe) a restaurant. The taxi to the beach was $6pp.

Great photos. We will be jumping onboard Dec 18th when you return. Hope your enjoying the ship. I noticed your from Rothesay NB, Im from Saint John, NB myself. Small world.

Looking forward to your next post.

Enjoy, you just missed a snow storm.

  3. Hi Cruise Experts,

We are getting close to our Dec 18th sailing on the Regal but wondering a couple things:

    1) How often do they have the Winemakers dinner onboard Regal and and when will they announce menus onboard (1st day/embarkation)? Ships sold out, should we book asap day of embarkation?

    2) Do they offer these winemaker dinners on formal nights only or every night of the cruise?

    3) Chef's table, same questions? When will they announce menus and when are they usually done....formal nights etc.

    4) How and where do we go to book cabana for 1/2 day at retreat pool and is it really worth the $40pp?

    Thanks all

    P

  4. We stayed in this cabin A743... last cabin on the Aloha deck. It was horrible there is a clicking sound all day and night on the balcony.. you can hear the thrusters. There was rust on the railing and wall, the cabin stunk of smoke... and worst of all my husband got Norwalk virus after 3 days on board!
