We are traveling with another couple and I want to make sure that this hotel is good, so I read some of the reviews posted on the web. Some people really liked the hotel, where others hated it, said it was moldy smelling, dirty, the shower curtains had nasty things on them, the smell from the inlet that is near was awful, the walls are paper thin and you can hear everything, the beds were really uncomfortable... on and on and on.

HELP!!!!!!!!!

Has the name changed on this hotel. I saw it in Cracker Ken's pics but can't find it on the Wyndham site or on the Tampa site?

I am torn about where to stay. We hopefully will be flying in to Tampa(flying stand by) the day before our cruise which departs on October 5 (Inspiration). Should we stay close to the terminal or should be stay at the airport. It would be nice to stay near the terminal but I'm understanding that the hotels there are really expensive. I don't want to put a ton of time into this because we are only staying one night and then cruising the next day, case closed.

We really won't have time to sight see, just maybe a nice dinner, get up in the morning, get ready and head to the terminal. This is our first cruise and our first vacation away from our 15 month old (sniff, sniff).
