  1. Hello fellow cruisers.   My wife is at the point where she needs a mobility scooter or wheelchair.  We can get a scooter for the ship, but i received a notice from Celebrity that the crew WILL NOT assist with getting the scooter down to the dock at ports of call.  I understand this at tender ports, but it doesn't seem right at ports with a gangway.

Does anyone have any information on this situation, or should we just use a wheelchair while on shore?

  2. We have always booked out next cruise while on board then transferred the booking to our TA. The benefits of booking on board are still in place, and our TA usually adds more benefits.

I deal with one agent who always takes care of my problems in a timely manner, even when she is in Europe on another cruise.

  3. How do I find out how many other ships will be in port with us? Just wondering for touring aspects. If there are several ships in port at the same time then we might skip places like Pompeii that could easily get overcrowded and lose their appeal.

    Thanks for any advice.

Go to a website, http://www.cruisett.com click on ports. It should show you what ships are where on what days.
