WHAT - no craps on Luminosa????? I am going to have a very sad DH if this is true.    We are heading out to Alaska in 63 days and I never would have thought it didnt have craps as every other Carnival ship we have been on has a table.

Actually, google said there was a craps table on the Luminosa, then DH watched reviews on youtube about Luminosa and one youtuber said that there was no craps table.  I also assumed the same thing you did.  Short story -  we were on Royal Caribbean's Spectrum OTS last year sailing from Singapore.  I didn't do my research as I thought there would be a craps table on every one of Royal Caribbean's ships.  Lo and behold - there was none on the Spectrum!  DH didn't play and because he didn't, the casino offers from Royal dried up.  We are still getting some, but not as much as we did before we sailed on the Spectrum.

Can anyone confirm that there is a Craps table on the Spirit?  We were intially looking at the Luminosa and a youtuber said that it didn't have a Craps table so we are now are looking at the Spirit. I will appreciate any and all replies.

  3. Hello, we are looking to cruise on the Carnival Spirit on July 18-25, 2023 (Tue to Tue).  We have already done this route pre-pandemic (on NCL Joy) and used Quick Shuttle from Vancouver to Seattle.  I checked the Quick Shuttle website and it seems they don't have any schedules on Tuesday.  Looking at Flix Bus or Greyhound but I can't figure out which bus stops to select for the Origin and Destination.  Carnival Spirit uses Pier 91.  We are coming from Toronto and arriving in Vancouver the night before sailing so we are looking to take the bus early morning of July 18.  There are 5 of us so a flight from YYZ to SEA would cost a lot of $.  Help please.  Thanks!

Celebrity has updated their ‘approved’ vaccine mixes to be considered fully vaccinated. Someone on SM showed the table. I haven’t gone to the X website to verify it.

Celebrity hasn't updated their website yet as of now. Now it seems like it will be a waiting game to see which cruise line does the update first.

It doesn't look to me like RCCL's vaccine requirements have changed yet

Nope, I had the same question and I was chatting with a Royal rep last night and he wasn't even aware that the CDC has now approved the AZ+mRNA combination.  I had to provide him with the link to the CDC info.  After seeing the link, he said that they should be working on it and that we should see an update within the next 5 days -- his words, not mine.

  6. Latest update from the CDC re MIXED VACCINES:

Interpretation of vaccine records: CDC has not recommended the use of heterologous (i.e., mix-and-match) primary series. However, the use of such strategies (including mixing of mRNA, adenoviral, and mRNA plus adenoviral products) is increasingly common in many countries outside of the United States. Therefore, for the purposes of interpretation of vaccination records, individuals can be considered fully vaccinated ≥2 weeks after receipt of the last dose if they have received any single dose of an FDA approved/authorized or WHO EUL approved single-dose series (i.e., Janssen), or any combination of two doses of an FDA approved/authorized or WHO emergency use listed COVID-19 two-dose series.  The recommended interval between the first and second doses of FDA-approved/authorized and WHO-EUL listed vaccines varies by vaccine type. However, for purposes of interpretation of vaccine records, the second dose in a two dose heterologous series must have been received no earlier than 17 days (21 days with a 4 day grace period) after the first dose.

  7. Hello, we will be sailing on the Seaside in June of this year.  Can someone please clarify regarding the WIFI that is included in the ALL IN promotion?  This is what it states on the MSC website:

Free Wi-fi includes our standard internet package (varies by ship):

    • Access all social networks and chat APP's
    • Check email and browse the web
    • On MSC Divina, 3-night cruises from Miami: Up to 2 devices; data limit 1 GB
    • On MSC Divina, MSC Meraviglia, MSC Armonia, 7-night cruises from Miami: Up to 2 devices; data limit 2 GB
    • On MSC Seaside, 7-night cruises from Miami: Up to 2 devices; data limit 3GB
    • On MSC Divina, MSC Meraviglia, 8-14 night cruises from Miami and New York: Up to 2 devices; data limit 3.5 GB

I would like to know if the data limit stated above is per cabin or per passenger.  I understand regarding the devices, but I'm not sure regarding the data limit.  If 3 people are booked in one cabin under the promotion, each one of them will have the drinks package obviously, but does it follow that each one of them also is allowed 3 GB, or is the 3 GB the data limit for all cabin occupants?  I need to know as unfortunately, there will be days on this sailing where work will have to come first.

    TIA!
