If you had a choice between 8592 and 8596, which would you choose? I'm looking at the deck plan and it appears, to me, that 8592 has a slightly larger balcony. Is there any advantage to being in either cabin regarding the balcony?
Thanks in advance for any and all responses.

Thank you so much for the info. i will check it out!

Shelbyscout, thank you for responding. We are flying to Frankfurt which is why I'm also considering Radisson Blu Airport Hotel. However, we should have the whole day after the cruise before leaving for Frankfurt the following morning so it most likely will be the Hyatt or Hilton.

DH and I will be needing a hotel for one night after our transatlantic cruise in April. I'm researching and have just about narrowed it down to Park Hyatt Hamburg and Reichshof Hamburg-Curio Collection by Hilton.
We will have a mid-morning flight the next day to Frankfurt so I'm also considering Radisson Blu Hotel.
Which would you choose in reference to location and the hotel itself? Thanks in advance for any and all responses.

Lanz, thank you.

Thank you both again.

Thanks to Colo Cruiser and Lanz!
Lanz, can you verify that all of the aft cabins on Dolphin deck have covered balconies?

I just found the thread with this link: http://www.cruisedeckplans.com/Princess/odell/res76zxu/princessbalconies/index.html. I'm hoping it's still current after Island's changes.

I'm trying to find mini-suites on the Island Princess that have covered balconies, specifically D705 or D706. Is it correct that all the aft cabins on the Dolphin deck have covered balconies?
Thanks in advance for any and all answers.

Thank you once again!

138east, thank you so much!
One more question: Our friends who are cruising with us are flying from LaGuardia Airport. Their Southwest flight also departs at 12:30 p.m. They will use a car service to get from the port to the LGA. Will they be okay?

Our Royal Caribbean Liberty of the Seas cruise from Cape Liberty ends on 10/17/15. Virgin America has changed our Newark departure flight time from 1 p.m. to 12:30 p.m. I'm not sure if that half hour makes much difference, but do you think we will be ok to make our flight?
From reading these boards, I think we should book in advance with Dial 7 or Carmel. Is this correct?
Thank you in advance for any and all responses.

I also purchased Exhilarate and also HATED it. For me, the moves were very difficult to follow. I have since purchased the Zumba Fitness Incredible Results and LOVE it. The music is great and I have no problem following most of the moves.

Many thanks to all who responded. After telling DH how long it could take via train, we are now almost certain to fly from Germany to Rome!
-
Thank you all so much. All of your input is really going to help!

DH and I will be visiting our son in Germany prior to our November Transatlantic cruise from CIVITAVECCHIA. We would prefer to take a train from Germany to Rome, where we will stay three days before our cruise. I'm totally at a loss as to what train(s) will get us from Kaiserslautern, Germany (which is near Frankfurt) to our hotel (IQ Hotel Roma) in Rome.
Any help/suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you all for responding. To my surprise, DH told me that he wants a nonstop or minimum one stop. Therefore, I booked our flight with Lufthansa, which is nonstop LAX to FRA. This makes me happy! :-)
I will keep all the info about Iceland Air for future reference.

Can you break it up and arrive KEF one morning and leave the next? It requires extra time and a night of hotel, but Reykjavik is a great little city.
Zach1213, thanks for responding. We really do not want to stay overnight, but I guess we would have to if we can't make our connection. I'll do some research on hotels as a plan b if we decide to use Iceland Air.
NorbertsNiece, thanks for the info.

Too funny! Maybe I won't post on the Europe boards because I don't know which section to post it. :)
-
I still haven't purchased our tickets yet. I'm really still nervous about that connection time, but glad to hear that Iceland Air is fine as an airline.
I'm going to post my questions on the Europe boards, but thank you all for responding.
-
Thank you so much. I'd better purchase our tickets before the fare goes up. :)

Prior to our transatlantic cruise departing from Rome (CIVITAVECCHIA) in early November, we are going to spend a week in Frankfurt. Iceland Air has a flight departing on October 19th from Ontario (ONT) to Frankfurt (FRA) which is reasonably priced. This flight has a stop in Seattle and then on to Revkjavik (KEF). The layover in KEF is only 40 minutes. Is this enough time?
Any thoughts on Iceland Air?
Thanks in advance for any and all responses.

I like that frame of mind, for life not just a diet!!!
Sorry I have not been on either so I can not help you there. Seems like they both have success stories and with the above frame of mind you are going to do great things. Sorry I cannot be more help in distinguishing between the two.
Ncovert, thank you for the encouraging words. Looking at your before and after pictures, it looks like you have lost a LOT of weight. Way to go!

I just read a comment from another Lose Before You Cruise thread...so let me make a correction. This will not be a journey, but a lifetime commitment as this time I not only want to lose the weight, but also keep it off.
