  1. Wife and I will be Cozumel near the end of March. Two questions.

Where does the Carnival Dream tie up? This will be our third time there

this winter and have been a the dock which is a few miles from the town.

Also looking for a beach that is not all rock and also has trees for shade.

    All help welcomed,

    Dennis/Doughball

  2. First time staying in the London area. My wife and I will have 3 nights to tour London. We figure that we will stay near the airport, so that we can catch the transfer to the Royal Princess, in Southhampton. That transfer leaves from Terminal 3 at the airport. We will travel each day to London areas, and then stay near the airport each evening.

My question is: Is there a hotel that we can walk to local restaurants, so that we are not stuck in the hotel itself?

    Thanks

    Dennis/Doughball

  3. High Cruisers,

Has anyone been to playa Uvas Beach Club lately? We were there a few years ago and had a great time. Does their package still include and lunch, snorkeling, alcohol, and the clear kayaks?

    Is it crowded?

I didn't see any mention of Playa Uvas on the boards!

We will be there in the middle of Feb.

  4. Wife and I have been to St Thomas several times. We will be there again aboard the Jewel, on the Feb 7th sailing. We think we would like to go to Coki beach. Here is the problem. We have tried to get a taxi just outside the cruise terminal and no one would take just the two of us. They seem to want a group! This happened when we wanted to go to Sapphire beach. Any suggestions?

  5. I hope someone will have some information for me. I have read that Barrachina will keep your luggage after your cruise ship returns to port, and you have a late flight back home.

This is our case. My question is what time does Barrachina open in the morning to receive luggage?

My wife and I have enjoyed many meals Barrachina, but I didn't know that they had this service.

Sailing Feb 7th 2015 on the Jewel.

  6. We have been to S. Friars beach. It is not large. I don't remember what the color of the sand was. The beach is clean, and the water is very very clear. There is a small bar called the Shipwreck. The shade come from palapas(thatched roof things) You can snorkel there. The also rent equipment. At about 10:00 they put out chicken parts, and the mongoose come out of the hills and eat. A little while later they put out bananas, and family groups of monkeys come out. Kinda Cool.

We will be on the Explorer in March and our stop at St Kitts is on March 17th. We would like to share a cab for this 20 minute trip. We go in the morning and come back to the ship about 1:00 PM.
