Uber is about 50 bucks from Hobby to Galveston.

Maya Chan is one of my favorite places I have ever been. Going again in December and cannot wait. It is so nice and relaxing there.

Wish I would have been able to book a GS instead of JS. The extras would be nice.

It fell out of your wive's purse, but you knew EXACTLY where it was??? Please....
Yes, because we had it when we got down there, sat at our table where we sat at dinner and once we hit the cab realized it was gone. Her purse had fallen over in teh Dining Room. Black wallet, very small and black carpet. Hard concept to grasp I'm sure. They said it had been located when our TA called, but we never got it. Not a big deal, glad it is here though.

Staying at Four Points since I get SPG points. It was the one that looked the best to us.

Also it should be noted that Uber & Lyft now operate to & from the port of Galveston. They just started this week.
Really? That is great news if true!

We used ExecuCar for transportation from Galveston to IAH. Booked it in April for a November trip. Always want to have everything set and ready well ahead of time.
I can't seem to get them to give me a quote. Get an error saying that its outside their service area. Flying out of Hobby though not IAH.

cruzinlisa, would love to pick your brain on Galveston some more if possible. Coming in from KCMO in December and had some questions. Do you have an email I can send you questions at?

Hi
Have tried to search for this but couldn't see anything (sure it will be somewhere), our first time with RCI and we have just purchased our various Premium and Soda Drinks Packages. When we board on the first day are we able to use these packages for drinks before we are allowed to our cabins, the SetSail Pass which i have printed off does not reflect we have a drinks package so wondering how it works ?
We are on Independence Of The Seas from Southampton on 27th May
Thanks
As others have stated it is noted on your SeaPass card which is basically your lifeblood on board. You will have access to all of these things the minute you step on board. Find a bar and post up and wait until sail away. Your SeaPass card also doubles as your room key/charge card.

We left a Coach wallet on Liberty....called to get tell them where exactly. They said they had found it and were going to send it to us, never did. Oh well, we just chalked it up as a mess up. I hope you get it but don't hold your breath.

Love Navigator...hopefully I'll get over to the UK for a cruise sometime.

First off the things in NOLA all the good have been mentioned but you not arriving until 5PM the day before, that only leaves a chance to eat, maybe street car ride, see Jackson Square and a walk down Bourbon. Want more on where to eat tell us what you like.
One thing once on the ship, be out on deck for sailaway and a while after, sailing the river is wonderful especially as it gets dark.
Couldn't agree more. The river is wonderful.

Big fan of Felix's Oyster Bar on the corner of Iberville and Bourbon.

There is Ginger Ale w/Lime/Cherry and Orange that I remember.

My room steward gave me a bottle of wine...im sure my TA paid for it.

Booked a GS in 2016 for 1100pp....hel of a deal for a 7 night cruise. Very excited, and this promotion urged me to go ahead and purchase our 5th Anniversary cruise.

Yeah, it was....but since the dry dock upgrades, the 19th Hole is gone and replaced with the Diamond Lounge.
Hey, Stone_Lotus...my wife and I both hold AARP cards, but we usually stay up for some nightlife as well!! We're not all in bed by 9:30! :D
Really? That is depressing. One of my favorite places to relax and enjoy myself.
-
The 19th Hole was my favorite place on Navigator. Best drinks there as they were never busy and the bar tender was always great.

Majesty was my first cruise and I am going on Majesty again in November to celebrate my 29th birthday. Loved everything about the ship and can't wait to get back on Majesty to pay it a final goodbye.
-
We bought ours the first night at dinner. Our waiter was very knowledgeable about what wines to pair with dinner and we always left with it afterwards. We only drank it at dinner though so that might be a big factor.
-
The drink packages carry over from the ship to CoCo Cay correct?
-
8 more days....cannot get here soon enough
-
52 days...come on NOLA

It depends on the brand. You should be able to haggle 12-20%.
