  1. Just a word of warning. If you bid for an upgrade and are successful check out your new cabin position before paying for it. We had a balcony cabin on A deck Britannia. I thought because it was under the overhang that I would try to get a better one. We were successful and were allocated G731. It was at the aft of the ship, did some research and mentioned might get some soot but nothing else. It has to be the worst cabin on Brittania right above the live lounge, all you can here is boom, boom, boom till the early hours of the morning. No chance of an early night. So do your research and don't end up like us. Glad to get home for a good night's sleep.

  2. We were due to sail on friday but both tested positive. I filled in health questioner and sent off and was immediately banned from getting on ship. How long do we have to wait for cruise credit to show up on our P&O account. We want to book another cruise. We tried ringing customer services but gave up after being on hold for an hour.

  3. With all the stories in the press this week, does anyone know P&O rules. We are due to cruise soon and our passport was  issued in september  2012 and expires in march 2023. Do P&O go by issue date or expiry date. i know P&O require you passport to be valid for 6 months after your return so if it was issue date we would only have 5 months.

The entrance is behind the West Quay premier Inn.

    Just turn up.

Everyone who stays at the West Quay premier Inn use this car park thinking it is only 24 hours parking.

There is a bridge linking the car park on deck 7 to the West Quay shopping centre.

Drive in,your car registration is photoed and on the ticket that comes out of the machine.

Pay at pay machine when exiting.

I spoke to the parking management and they said lots of cruisers leave their car there.

How doyou get from the carpark to P&O dock can we walk or ddo we need a taxi? we are sailing on Britannia. Not sure where she sailfrom.

We parked at West Quay Multi storey during 2 nights pre cruise at the Premier Inn and 14 nights on Iona which we disembarked on Saturday.

Cost was £80 for 16 nights £5 per night.

Second time we have parked here and very safe.

    Graham.

Do you have to book this or just turn up ?

  6. What is the earliest train we could catch. The ship is due in at 7am. The cruise line have bought every ticket from 11.00 onwards. I was wondering if we could make the 09.45 train,

Not sure if we tender or are alongside, We are on RCCL Explorer of the seas.

  7. We have just got of Independence of the seas.

It was only a short 3 night cruise so I thought we would try a guarantee balcony cabin. We were allocated a deck 9 mid-ships cabin. Thought we had done alright. It had a connecting door.

On first night at 7pm we were getting ready for dinner when they were trying out the bed. She was very vocal. We turned the telly up.

They came back at 2.15am that night and had a big row. Lots of shouting, and swearing.

We were woke up at 07.30 with the sound of them making up, time for the telly again.

It did get quieter after that but is has certainly put me off getting an adjoining cabin.

Should I have done something and what would you have done.
