I still see Escape at Puerto Plata on the 23rd. Only other ship is the Carnival Freedom. I'd say there is a good chance it will not be cancelled. With only two ships they could both be at Amber Cove.
Which port did you see this in? I checked both and Escape is not on either for 1/23

I was noticing that on the port calendars (Tiano & Amber) that Escape was originally scheduled to stop at Amber on 1/23, but not its not on there anymore (it was there yesterday) and not listed on the Tiano port schedule either. How can I confirm with NCL it's cancelled. I have an excursion booked through the cruise line and want to make sure I am refunded if we don't stop there.
If we are not stopping there, where would you guess it would be going? Nassau?
Thank you

Try reading the recent trip reports for Escape on this thread. They are very good about posting dailies & info from their current cruise or one they just got off of. You can search "dailies" or "Escape" in the search bar and go from there. I believe there is a separate thread for special needs, just need to keep looking. Good Luck!

I have the free at sea, with the free air & transfers. I finally straightened out the flight, but how do I book the transfers to and from airport/pier? There is nothing on the NCL site where I checked in. Does this have to be called in or is it done automatically since NCL booked the airfare?

I'm now wondering if my 1/21-28 Escape cruise will be stopping there. I'll be really bummed out if it doesn't I scheduled a dolphin swim for that day

So, if I have Premium plus, according to the first link (from an NCL bar), if there is a price next to the glass price and price next to bottle price - that is NOT included with premium plus? I was understanding that I could get glasses of Veuve and bottles of Moet. Then I also read that you can only get bottles of the Moet in dining room and have to finish it there.
So confused
-
I would love to do this on my upcoming cruise in January!

Hello:
Can anyone tell me about the Moet bar on Great Stirrup Cay? Is it special access only for the villa/cabana folks, or can anyone go? Can I just walk up to it without having to rent a cabana? I have the ultimate drink package and would love to sit and sip "the good stuff" there.
Also, is there a bar on Escape that specializes in wines & champagnes?
Thank you

I have the 8 digit reservation number, 13 digit e-ticket number and PNR record locator that has numbers & letters, not the letters that AA asks for.
-
I have "free" air booked through NCL and they sent an email confirming my flights via American Airlines. When I go to the AA site, it doesn't recognize any of the confirmation/reservation numbers NCL provided.
Has this happened to anyone else? How to resolve?
Thank you

Is there or does anyone who has recently cruised this itinerary have a schedule or pics of the MDR menus each night?
I am trying to pre-plan my specialty restaurant reservations.
Thank you

I'm contemplating arriving a day before my cruise departs, just in case (Friday instead of Saturday) Are there any budget friendly, safe, clean options to stay just Friday night in Orlando/Cape Canaveral and are there any bargains out there for port/airport transfers?
Thanks

I remember taking a towel animal folding class on a HAL cruise once, I still know how to make a swan.
I took a class too on Carnival & I think I still have the book somewhere.

Do the room stewards still make the towel animals? Loved them from my last cruise

Great. It's only $7, but I did just won an upgrade from inside to balcony and was charged the extra gratuities for the dining package. I'm guessing the agent was thinking about the DSC only, but you will get an extra meal with the free at sea dining. Of course, I'm assuming you didn't cancel the dining package, or booked a sail away cabin, which doesn't include the free at sea. If you do have the dining package (which is only 1 meal for a studio unless you're on a cruise longer than 10 days), you will notice that you paid $10 gratuities for it. The two meal package costs $17 in gratuities
I already upgraded both the drink package and dining packages and paid for both. Agent said none of this is affected since I'm pre-paid. I hope this is still true
-
Thank you for the replies. I spoke to NCL agent who said going from studio to balcony will NOT incur any additional charges, either with insurance or tips - both pre-paid.
I appreciate everyone trying to help!

Someone on another thread said that if your upgrade bid is accepted, you are automatically charged additional $500 for added tips and insurance. I put a bid in from a studio to a balcony (regular, not club or haven). Is this true? I have pre-paid for everything already, but wasn't aware that in addition to the bid price, there is additional fees to upgrade insurance (standard) and tips.
Thanks

I put in a bid to upgrade from studio to balcony for a January 2023 cruise. I did the minimum, or a little bit over that.
If I get this upgrade, how much more do I have to pay for tips/insurance/anything else? Another thread told me to expect a $500 charge to my account right off the bat. Can anyone clarify please?

UPDATE: I called NCL and since my air ticket had not yet been issued, they added the middle name for me and no $150 fee!!!!!!

What NCL requires of details for booking a cruise and what AIRLINES (or more correctly the state dept.) require when booking a ticket may not be the same - even if NCL is acting as the "middle man" in the purchase.
Much info on this matter can be found here:

Thank you. This article was very helpful!

I am using NCL air from CLT to MCO and I noticed that my reservation for NCL is just first and last name. My ID (NC DL) has my middle name on it. Does it matter to airlines if reservation is missing middle name? I flew 2 years ago and it didn't matter.
Thanks

Go back through the Room Upgrades link just as though you were going to bid on another room. You will have to re-insert your last name and booking confirmation number. The next page should show you your most recent bid. (You can also click or swipe right to see the other available items for bid in case you want to bid on two staterooms at once.)
Thank you!
