Just got back Sunday and used Florida Sunshine from MCO to PC and return. Excellent service.Private service, very reasonable, on time and no prepayment required.

Used them in January for 6 adults and 2 children and John was great. Am using them again this sunday for 4 adults at the price you stated. Will try to post my experience when I return in 2 weeks.

All the promenade rooms except for the family promenade rooms are 2 person rooms so children will not be a problem.

Are there any nice beaches near Falmouth? How far are they?

No one has mentioned the American Express Blue Cash Every Day Card, which is a no fee card that gives 3% on U.S. supermarkets, 2% on U.S. gas stations and department stores and 1% on everything else. It seems that having this card AND the Barclay no fee card is a winning combination.

As molly361 indicated yes you can keep a $0 balance (and as someone said that's the only way you are actually getting any reward).

 

We spend just about the right amount to cover the annual fee (there are blog posts who've calculated it out for you to determine whether you want the free version or the annual fee version).

The boat is absolutely NOT crowded. We have been on 100+ excursions - this is not one of our family's favorite. Top notch from star to finish.

Why, when the rest of your posting would indicate otherwise?

This doesn't sound like drink gratuity but staff gratuity for a 15 day cruise ( 15x12x2=360 ). Drink gratuities are not shown as a separate item on your statement. To have a $360 drink gratuity would be $2400 in drinks at 15% graduity.

I believe it depends on the date of your cruise. The further out the cruise, the longer it takes to reply.

We've just returned from 12 days on Brilliance of the Seas. We decided not to get the drinks package but opted for a wine package instead.

 

What we discovered on board was that the King & Country pub offers a bucket of 5 good beers for $20 and my husband got this every sailing day. As a beer drinker this suited him fine and he didn't need to get it if we were in port and off the boat for the day. You didn't have to drink all the beers yourself or all in one day.

 

Much more flexible than the drinks package so if you're mainly a beer drinker it is useful to know.

Character breakfast booking is uinder specialty dining. Note that they are instituding a $10 charge per adult for this. IMO it's not worth the extra charge. There is plenty of opportunities to see and take pictures with the characters during the week.

We were on the Freedom the week of Jan 19 and the event was in the Diamond Lounge.

We have done several Celebrity cruises. The last one was on the Reflection ( S Class ). The inside cabins and bathrooms are larger than the equivalent RCL cabins ( 180 sq ft ). The public rest rooms are also much nicer. The buffet layout and food selections were also superior.

Thanks for the suggestion, but we are trying to keep the costs reasonable since we are paying for the Girlfriend and they are only 18 so want to keep tabs on them.

Ypu could get connecting rooms and leave thr connecting door open.
