Looking forward to your review.

We're going in September as well, and are all booked for dinner and shows. Not in Haven. Just checked every day until bookings opened and booked them all.
We are also sailing in September. Booked our dining but only Jersey Boys for entertainment. Nothing else available. Will try once on board.

Was the main dining room open for lunch on embarkation day? I know this used to be on other NCL ships but it has been awhile since I have cruised NCL.
Thank You

VI is open for booking and Sammy Hagar is on board. No one else is yet but we went on RLC III and had a blast! Booked this one right away and can't wait!

My sail date was Aug. 12. They played The Jungle Book, Allegiant, Hail, Caesar!, Star Wars-Force Awakens, The Huntsman: Winter's War, The Angry Birds Movie, and Batman vs Superman-Dawn of Justice. These were all poolside.
Thank you. I realize they may change some.

111 and time is going very slow.

Yes this is the one we used the second time. The first time was a shore excursion while on NCL.

I second the airboat tour of the Everglades. Have done it twice and thoroughly enjoyed them both.

Do they do wine tasting on the ship and if so what is the cost?
Thank you

Thank you for the replies. I was kind of excited when I saw it on a menu since I love Creme Brûlée. I have had some very good and some not so good so I thought I would see what the forum folks thought. Husband said yum to the brownie so I am sure he will try it.

There is Chihuly on some NCL ships. He is such an amazing artist.

Thank you for every picture and all the time it took to do your review. Enjoyed reading it. I even went over to your photos of the NCL Dawn since that was our first ship ever. :) Good memories.

Question on trip insurance though - a bunch of you commented that you take out the trip insurance. Well, I always take out the regular trip insurance that covers cancellation, interruption, etc, but that typically doesn't cover medical expenses. I have considered taking out the separate medical insurance, are many of you saying that you take out the trip interruption insurance as well as the medical insurance??
We always take out the Book Safe policy that NCL sells. It covers medical too.

We did the beer tasting on the Pearl. They gave us 5 or 6 beers. While not full sized they did give us plenty. My husband says he was a bit looped and he was shocked I walked so casually away. I remember Red Stripe, Foster's, a Mexican beer and I really do not recall what else. Had alot of fun tho and will do it again.

Kim, Thank you for the very detailed review. I read almost the entire thing last night and just finished today. Love all the pictures and the little details. Sorry to hear the Star was not @ her best for you. I have not been on her since her redo.

In an NCL roll call thread someone mentioned that NCL takes down any door decorations, considering them as litter.
Have any of you experienced this?
The reason I'm asking is because in Sept/Oct we will be on NCL Sun for 33 days on B2B2B cruises and I was going to put one magnetic sign, ordered from Vistaprint.com on our door. (It's the size that fits on a car door for advertising.) It would simply say:
33 Days Onboard.
Northern Europe,
Transatlantic,
Caribbean
last line would have our first names and a flower in bottom right corner.
Will that be taken down as litter? It's not paper and wouldn't be taped. If I remember correctly, the door is magnetic.
We have never had our door decore removed. Some of it has been played with :D but it was never removed. On the other hand there have been others who have. Not sure what crosses the line but your sign sounds fine. Here is a picture of our door on the Star.

Sounds like some people really like them and some do not. We are booked in a sideways obstructed view for our upcoming Pearl cruise. Found a few pictures of the cabin next door on cruise stateroom. Our PCC says the layout seems to be roomier to her. She is looking to see if she has any photos from the Jewel. I will definately be taking some since they seem to be rare. :)

Read on NCL board you just returned. What a treat to read another SailorJack review! You cracked me up so hard I had coffee coming out my nose. I will have to remind myself to not be drinking anything when I read your future HAL report. I can only imagine...
Thanks again SailorJack!

Coka I also had the coffee coming out the nose. :)
Thanks for another great review SailorJack.
