We were on the Fascination in March. Would agree about the balconies. I am 5'7" and my DH is 5'10". We could not sit with our chairs facing forward but put them at an angle so we had a little more room. I can't remember the cabin number on Verandah but we were considered one of the obstructed cabins but it wasn't that bad. The two behind us though were really bad. Deck was extremely quiet and service outstanding. We loved our room and would book a cabin on Verandah on any other ship. Certainly balcony not as nice as on the Glory or newer ships but still nice.

Okay just found this thread and unfortunately, we are in cabin V23 on 3/26! I assume from the photos that when we look out on our balcony (if you can call it that) we will only see a lifeboat? Wish the travel agency had told me this last week. I'm sure I can't get a refund to a lower cabin...this stinks!

We are looking at a post-cruise for Tampa but am concerned about how early we can get a shuttle from a hotel since our flight is at 6:35 a.m. I know some shuttles do not run 24/7. Any suggestions on those hotels that would have a 24 hour shuttle without costing a fortune? Is it just better to take a cab?
