You can request a flight deviation and they just charge you extra for it and then you're also not able to take the transfers. I know I requested it this past March but did not take advantage of it with that cruise cancelling but I know it was something they allowed us to add on.

I did the social plan with my iPhone on the Valor. Works great for Facebook also it does say on the ship iMessage doesn't work but I had no problems texting while I was gone (pictures did not seem to send through iMessage) so I put them on Facebook.

Also to note you can access the airlines websites so you're able to check in (in my case needed to for Southwest)

Keep it in airplane mode and connect to Carnivals Wifi and you'll have no charges from your carrier.

Was on the same cruise. Fantastic time and second time on the Valor! I anticipate they kept the stabilizers in as we didn't go below 20 knots as the great distance we covered. Amber Cove was nice and I had looked forward to that port the most as I had never visited Dominican Republic. Great review so far!

For my cruise coming up both of ours have an N next to our numbers. Noticed my luggage tags also don't indicate PRIORITY or Faster to the Fun like in the past and it should reflect with platinum.

I did this a few years ago. My ex girlfriend was booked and we went our own ways and I just showed up, checked in told them she would be late at the desk and then after we set sail told guest services she would not be joining me at all. I got my port taxes/fees back and didn't pay the $50 penalty to cancel her.

I've stayed in 8325 and we didn't have any issues. Though when booking this room my PVP did say it was under the pool/deck so it had potential. I booked the Valor next year and decided I liked the location and didn't have the noise issue I'd take the same room.

Yeah you can call rooms from your cabin. Handy to call from public areas too!

Who was the bartender at the Alchemy bar by chance, great review by the way, I will be sailing soon and can't wait to experience the 2.0 upgrades again. Sailed on the Liberty with 2.0 and it was awesome.
