  1. * experience Harmony (we have been on 20 cruises, 2 of them on Oasis, and Harmony is top notch. This crew has it down perfectly!

    * get the Wow band. It was so convenient

    * eat at Jamie’s and Wonderland! Both were highlights of our trip!

    * download the passport app for disembarkation- made it so much faster!

    * go see Columbus the musical, it’s hilarious!

    * mini-bites by the sports deck is super easy and good for afternoon snacks.

    * buy the drink package (even if it’s the non-alcoholic one)... so nice to grab water bottles and Johnny Rockets milkshakes are included!

    * if you go to Puerto Rico, the food and culture tour was super great!

We are in this cabin now... just to warn you... it’s SUPER LOUD! it’s too close to elevator bank and people hang in the hall outside this room. There’s also a lot of banging that goes on above it. It’s nice and big, but I rather have quiet.

  3. Hello!

I was wondering if anyone had done the "Beach Escape by Boat" through RC. I would like to know if you board straight from the ship or some other dock at the cruise port. I was also wondering how you "dock" at Mullet Bay.

    Thanks!

Were you able to use chairs and umbrellas or did they charge for use? Thanks

  4. We were on the Oasis over New Year’s Eve. This was our 17th cruise (and we have done a variety of ships and lines). This was our second time on Oasis and she still remains our favorite! Here are a couple of our opinions:

chef’s table - well worth the money! We absolutely loved the food and experience. This was our 4th time doing a chef’s table on a cruise and this one was our favorite.

Jr. suite - well worth the money! We loved the extra space. Great location in 11236.

Specialty restaurants - we ate at all of them. Giovanni’s was our least favorite but still it was very good. 180 was our favorite, followed by Izumi and Sabor.

Crew - all the crew we encountered were great, accommodating and highly engaged.

Drink package - hubby was not very impressed with the beer selection but we drank plenty of alternatives! Get the cappacino martini in the champagne bar! Well worth the $2.00 upgrade!

I am happy to answer any questions. Can’t wait to sail Oasis again!

  5. No hate responses please... but imo, the Bloody Mary on RC iS not good. We just got off a RC cruise and I searched that ship high and low for someone to make it the way I am use to it being made. I watched each bartender either use just tomato juice or a pre-made mix (which they let me see the container and one of the first ingredients was high fructose corn syrup - yuck!) add vodka and then hand me worstershire and hot sauce to add my own. I asked for horseradish and they didn't have it. There was no garnish like lemons or olives. I was on Holland in May and they make an amazing Bloody that includes shrimp! All for the same price too. Just my two cents

  6. Hi megr1125! I would love your expert opinion! We are sailing on Summit in May.. driving in from Ohio a few days early so we can check out Times Square and see a Broadway play. Should we just pay to park at the pier? Looks like maybe 20 a day to park. Where should we stay for the few days prior to the cruise in order to come in to see the city? Thanks much!
