Thanks
do both people on the cabin have to buy it or is it by device? Is there a discount if you get more than one device?

I haven’t cruised in 12years and this will be my #11 on carnival and my girlfriends first on carnival.
We are deciding between the magic and the celebration. Same itinerary slightly different different lengths small price difference.
does anyone have any insight or advice?

Good....I never liked him anyways

we actually had Victor and the guy was great
if you go to his website, the zip-linning pictures are of my wife and a bunch of our friends from this past Sept

During a break in the rain around 9:45pm, a few of us walked to the Publix to get beer, soda and water for cruise. Since they didn't have exactly what we were looking for, we also walked to the Walgreens. Big Surprise - no beer/liquor at all at Walgreens, and very limited soda selection. No big deal, we walked back to Publix and made do with some substitutions.
did you happen to see any full liqour stores in the area?

Thanks for your kind words. Its very nice of you! I've lived in Tampa for 20 years and its my pleasure to help out my CC friends coming for a visit.

Could you give me some information about the area around the Courtyard Downtown
Liqour and grocery(please say there is a Publix close by) store locations is what I am really after
-
I can let anyone know about the Courtyard Downtown when we get back in a few weeks

I am considering the Courtyard Marriot downtown ( have points), it is very nice, and close to the port. The other downtown hotels are very good as well.
is this in a good area, and do the trolleys run to it

maybe I missed it (sorry if I did), but can anyone provide me with some information about the Courtyard Tampa Downtown (102 E Cass St)
we went ahead and booked, but any info on this location would be great

I still think some of the best key lime pie I have ever had was from Publix

Clarksfan,
I don't care if you bring booze on a ship. I do think though if the guy next to you notices you are pouring your own booze into your drink out in a public area, you aren't being discreet at all.
I feel the same way about the rolling cooler. What's discreet about that? If you want to drink in your cabin, that's fine, but taking your own stock out in public is just plain tacky.
Obviously some will disagree with me. I am not saying that if you made a drink in your cabin and took it out it would be tacky, but a cooler or topping off your drink is. I'm not making a moral judgement, lol. Go ahead flame me.
Katie
Sounds pretty dead on to me
I am in the privacy of your own room camp on this issue.....I would gladly buy a bottle from the ship if they would let me take it back to my room
